Not up to the job
Purchased one of these from Fellowes for a small mail order business for weekly shredding of sensitive customer information. We had been using a small domestic desktop shredder for 10 years - slow but it worked. We decided to upgrade to a bigger, faster machine so bought the C-325CiAfter 3 months the paper shredder teeth shattered with a very loud bang - that was the end of that machine. We were sent a new one under warranty, which lasted about 1 year before the CD shredder stopped working completely and the On/Off touch button began to be unreliable - now, it is down to luck if it decides to switch on or not.It does have good points - when it works, it can chew through the weekly shredding in just a few minutes, it has a high capacity bin and the bags are easy to get hold of, and it is reasonably quiet. The safety features are useful, and for a high capacity machine it is fairly compact and sat out of the way in the corner of the office.Unfortunately I just dont think the mechanical parts of the machine are up to the job, and there are better machines out there for less money.
