Very well packaged
This powder came in a box with Organic Castor Oil. The oil was not well sealed, and leaked over much of the contents of the box, including the Amla powder bag. The outer layer of the bag is paper, and absorbed the oil well. Fortunately the inner bag is a foil or plastic like bag, and protected the powder very nicely. I will need to transfer the powder to a different container, but am grateful that it was protected. That would have been a big mess. Looking forward to trying the powder for the project I purchased it for.

Beware of this Amla product
I ordered two bags of Amla powder because it seemed like a good deal. I've been taking Amla for quite a while and when I opened this bag. It looked like Amla, smelled like Amla, but when I tasted it, it had a weird taste. Luckily I had some leftover previous stash of Amla at hand to compare. And the taste of this Amla powder is considerably different.It seemed like they added quite a bit of fillers/binders to the Amla powder because it tasted mostly chalky & floury with a hint of sourness & bitterness of Amla. When I dissolved it into water and took a small sip, it had a chalky taste and the back of my throat felt dry and scratchy afterwards. This is very unusual to my previous experience of taking Amla. To be fair, I can't confirm the authenticity and purity of this Amla product, but I am alarmed enough to post this review to warn others. If you are taking Amla for health reasons, please beware of this product from this company. Whatever the filler they are using to bulk up this Amla powder is unknown and may be harmful to your health.When I tried to return this on my Order page it says "This item isn't eligible for return." I called customer service and reported this. They were nice enough to issue a refund in full and told me to dispose of the product and post a review. I hope this is helpful.
