Could use more damar
Like this product, but I do sometimes add more damar to make the wax harder when cured. This is the only supplier I’ve found and buy a lot of product from them. Excellent quality especially their hand made paints. Have yet to use the blenders I also purchased.

This is a great medium. It’s I think 6-1 & the perfect amount of bees wax to Damar. Love it.

5 lbs bag is easy to pour.
The five pound bag is basically a large clear plastic bag. It's easier to pour than the paper 2 pound bag. This is my favorite encaustic medium.

I haven't used my encaustic medium yet but I have used it before in workshops and such. It shipped fast and came early which was a nice surprise!

Cheaper to buy in bulk
Buying individual pounds of medium is expensive. I know I will use this up pretty quickly, so the 5lb bag was a better value. R & F melts evenly and gives nice luminous glow to painting.
