I purchased this doctor kit for my 3 year old granddaughter. I was originally choosing from a few different ones that were available on Amazon, but when this particular one went on sale, I decided to take advantage of the price. Glad I did. The kit is very nice. It comes in a very durable and reusable plastic case. The stethoscope, when pressed on the chest, makes one of two sounds (cough or heartbeat). The mini telephone that comes in this kit was a great hit. It also has sound effects built into the phone and its the right size for a 3 year old to hold comfortably in hand. The syringe functions when you depress the stopper, the thermometer clicks or turns or something (I don't recall at the moment), and the blood pressure cuff has a squeeze ball (although the cuff is a little small and would only fit another child or a doll, not an adult). It also contains the tool to check ears, eyes, a reflex hammer, a mirrored tool to look at the throat, two bracelet type band aids, a scissor looking extraction tool and a pair of plastic eyeglasses. My 3 year old knew exactly how to use each item in the kit without any direction from an adult. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend for any young child as it is durable and contains no small pieces.

I was looking for a replacement doctor kit for the grandkids. So many are flimsy and cheap looking.This one was good quality, nice and sturdy. I also like the size of each item. The grandkids will love it

Great toy

My 3 year old loves this set. Pretty durable even when my 1 year old plays along. Some kinks have formed in the hoses on the stethoscope and blood pressure meter already, but it doesn't make the set any less fun! The glasses are a fun bonus that look super cute on my daughter, and she loves the play phone. At first, I thought the latches on the case were going to be a problem for her to get open, but she didn't even need any instruction and navigates them just fine. (They are the kind that first latch upwards and then you pull down to lock in place.) My daughter's only complaint is with the thermometer. She didn't understand it at first because both at home and at our doctor's office, a forehead thermometer is used. But she still loves it!!

BEST doctor kit!! My 3 year old daughter has a couple doctor kits, this one, a hand me down from her big brother and one that came with a Doc McStuffins costume, and this one is her favorite by far! She was 2 when she received it and loved it immediately. The stethoscope makes a coughing sound and the kit has more doctor tools than you could image. The thermostat has a smiling or sad face and she can push the shot down to pretend. The blood pressure cuff is easy for her to squeeze and she can see the needle moving. All of the pieces are just adorable and she uses them all.The next best part is the container. I despise buying really great toys, with lots of pieces, and not having a good container to keep it all organized in, or a bad container that just doesn’t work. We can just scoop up everything and toss it in the case and lock it close. The other doctor kits she has, have bags with a tiny velcro closure and it’s always challenging keeping everything together when we are not playing with it. This is the kit she always grabs and I’ve chunked the other ones in the dress up box. The clasps to lock it down can sometimes be challenging for her, but that’s usually only when she has something sticking out and she is just not taking the time to do it right. Even if she picks up all the pieces and closes the lid, that’s good enough for me. We have managed to keep all the pieces because of this container!I would gift this in a heartbeat!

I have 2 grandsons 2 and 4, not that receptive to sharing. Already have one that older grandson has claimed so younger grandson gets this, grandpa has been examined over and over by both with no squabbling between them, I have been given a clean bill of health, with exception of needing multiple vaccinations.

I bought this for my 3-year old grandson and he LOVES it! From the minute he opened the package he was excited and immediately started playing "doctor" with me! I love that the stethoscope makes real sounds and so does the phone...so does he! The "instruments" are of great quality, not cheap and flimsy. It's also nice that all of the pieces pack up nicely in the box after playing with them. Everything about this gift is great! It's a perfect gift for a 3-year old! I'm very satisfied with my purchase!
