OtterBox iPhone 16 Pro Max Defender Series Case - Black

It’s amazing like every other OtterBox I’ve ever gotten except with a little bit of personality to it because it has camouflage which I love, especially the camo of it is perfect. It’s really easy to install and the clarity of it is perfect. I found protection on this is awesome, except for the side action button, which is exposed.

I have always used OtterBox defenders on my iPhones! They are incredibly durable and well made. It isn’t too bulky, and provides great grip. I genuinely believe that they are well worth the price! The design is sleek and slim with wonderful grip. I love that they integrated the capability to use mag-safe in this case, as all the previous defenders I have purchased did not offer that capability! So happy that they worked that into this line of defender cases, I find these to be the most durable of all the otterbox cases they offer.

Fits phone great. The belt clip holder is not included, but you can receive one with no charge and no shipping by scanning the QR code included in the package. Phone in good shape despite a few fumbles, so quality protection is solid. Great value and looks sharp on the phone as well!

This is my 5th Otter Box (3 for iPhones and 2 for iPad minis). For me there is no other case I would ever use on my Apple products. I also always use my Otter cases with a holster for added safety and protection and easy accessibility when I am hiking or biking.Yesterday I called my carrier and ordered a new iPhone. As soon as I hung up I came to Amazon to order this cover. The new iPhone arrived early this morning and it stayed unopened in its Apple box while I waited for the Otter Box to arrive. When the Otter Box got here I finally took the iPhone out of its box and directly into the Otter Box. Now I am ready to activate it. This procedure has been the same for every Otter Box I have ever owned. My electronics come out of the Apple box and straight into the Otter box. You should see the pristine condition of my iPhones when I trade them in!If you are considering an Otter Box for the first time let me tell you a quick story. About 2 years ago I was out hiking. My hike buddy and I stopped for lunch on a ledge overlooking a fantastic mountain view. I placed the iPhone (with a holster) next to me on the ledge and somehow accidentally knocked the iPhone off the ledge and down about 15 feet. My buddy was very upset about my iPhone. Me, I was cool as a cucumber because I KNEW my iPhone had survived. I found a way to climb down to the iPhone (no easy feat, let me tell you!) and retrieved it. When I went back up my buddy could not believe her eyes. Screen and iPhone working perfectly, not a scratch or dent anywhere. She said that had she not witnessed the fall my phone had taken she would have never believe it could survive without damage.That is what you get with an Otter Box, plain and simple. I would not purchase the same product over and over and over again unless I had experienced first hand how good it is. As far as I'm concerned, Otter Box is in a class by itself.

I enjoy this case and have used it on all my other iPhones. I’ve found they’ve gotten easier to remove and install over the years which is great. They’ve increased protection around the camera this year compared to my last which is good. However, I do not like how there is not as much protection for the screen now (not raised on the sides). Also—as others have mentioned, the camera button cutout is poorly designed. Hurts my hand when I hold the phone, makes it feel unprotected, and could have easily been better. Good value for the money, and the design has stayed mostly consistent over the years, which is great—but the Camera cutout continues to be a disappointment and makes the case feel less protective.In my experience the case is functional and I use the anti slip capability a lot. However, in terms of its wireless charging performance, I have not had a great experience. I am unable to get a very fast charge from a MagSafe charger and the case gets hotter than I’d like. However, I’m very happy with the magnetic grip, it’s very strong and better than I expected.Disappointed they removed the plastic belt clip but you can still get it for free luckily with a provided in the box code.Overall, great case as always.

I bought this to replace a zagg phone case for my new iPhone 16. I had an otterbox on my previous phone for 5+ years. I worked on a hard concrete floor and dropped it many times w/out any damage. The phone even survived a high speed crash. W/new phone I opted for a sleeker cover. The first two weeks of using the zagg cover on my new phone my screen protector had cracked. I decided to go back to the outer box despite being a little more bulky. I was happy that there were color options besides black, which is what I had previously for my iPhone X.
