Exactly what I was looking for
After doing extensive research to find a good quality affordable dock for the rog ally I was brought here. Have been using for a few days and have had no issues whatsoever. I did get a 100w usb-c laptop charger to use with it so that I could use turbo mode, which works no problem. It does everything I need it to do. The hdmi even supports high fps and 4k. Although only 2 usb-a ports isn't much, it supports usb splitters as well!! I've got a monitor, keyboard & mouse, and external ssd all connected with no issues at all. The instructions mentioned how to do a firmware upgrade, but I found that I did not need to and it was pretty much plug and play. Very happy with my purchase.-Tip for users trying to turn their handheld into a pc; go to display settings and set it to only show the monitor. This will make everything look normal rather than large like it is on the handheld.

Not perfect but has decent stats
it has great features, the build is decent, but its not a perfect fit for my legion go. a few flaws is that the usb port does not fit in thicker cables at the end because it wont fit into the thin nook. it does not go up to 4K 144hz, but it doesnt claim to. 120@4k is decent enough. The USB ports are fast and if you manage to use a 120W supply in the port, you can indeed power your legion go quite well and use quite a few usb devices, like a mechanical hard drive, all the while keeping it powered. It's not very discrete, but I have a legion go just because I need another windows device on my desk (I'm a mac user) and the alternative would be spending 500 more dollars on a mini PC (Which would have fit better and provided more IO and perfmorance) but this will suffice. not many games run at 4k 120fps on any of the current windows handheld gaming PCs anyway

Awesome!
Works as described for SteamDeck. However, I was curious if the extra USB C ports would allow me to use my AR glasses with the Steam Deck to keep it charging while I was using them. Those ports do not work for AR glasses. I'm going to order an HDMI-USB C adapter and try that out. However, for my TV this is great! As others have mentioned, it is slightly unstable but I'm not too worried about it. As long as you balance it, it isn't going to move.

Great docking station!
This is a great docking station for the Rog Ally X. The docking station works once plugged into the X and it just works. I tried the iVANKY 8-in-1 Docking Station and that particular docking station would not turn on my display and the USB ports did not work all the time. However, you will not have to worry about that issue with this docking station. It actually works! Just be aware that if you have the JSAUX PC0111 ModCase Compatible with ASUS ROG Ally X, the Rog Ally X will not fit on the stand, unless you remove the rubber piece, but that is not a big deal.

Beware the need for a 100 watt power supply that does NOT come with it.
Im using this with a Rog Ally. Here's what I don't like about it. First, it doesn't really work with the power supply that comes with the Rog Ally. Meaning if you hook the power supply you own to it, it won't go to 30 watts, only 25. That means you have to source a 100 watt USB power supply for it to actually drive your Ally to 30 watts (turbo mode). This is kind of lame, as it's an additional purchase. Fortunately I have an Apple Macbook Pro supply I used with success. Second, the USB cable is so stiff that it pushes the device away from the base so its kind of suspended off the back, but it works, so whatever. Last, you can't do USB-C video through the doc, you have to run an HDMI cable no matter what. Might be a limitation of the device itself, but still kind of annoying. Overall, it seems to work and I will be keeping it as it does what it should, i.e. networking, video, keyboard/mouse and turns your ally into a little mini pc which is great. But it lacks polish and could be improved with some simple communication about the power supply issue and a better power cable that doesn't push the system away from the base. Its a solid 3 star product, probably worth what you pay.

Great Product!
Great build quality and connectivity. I love the minimalistic form factor as well and that it comes with a docking system. I love that being a type-c device, it can be used on many other mobile devices as well (i.e. Android). This is a great little product!

DO NOT BUY THIS FOR THE ALLY X
This thing is the worst dock you can own for the ASUS ROG Ally. The handheld does not fit, its cumbersome. IDK how many times I knocked it off the dock and it almost fell on the floor. Also, it will not power the ROG X sufficiently DO NOT BUY THIS

Is not the same fan as the modcase attachable fan kit.
Good quality. Don't reccomend if you have the modcase tho and expect the fan to be the same one that you can attached to the case standalone. This fan looks almost the same exact one as the attachable fan for the there modcase. Only difference with this one is that it doesn't have the slot to lock into the modcase. Had hugh hopes that I could utilize the the detachable fans on my modcase when not docked. But thays not the case
