Soak in a bag of rice for 24 hours if submerged in water
Live this remote I accidentally washed it in the washer in my clothes and it still works

Poor quality. Short lifespand. Don’t waste your money.
Worked for a couple of weeks and now it sends incorrect signals to our TV. Ie turn volume down and it automatically turns it up and won’t stop turning it up. Won’t turn off, etc. We have to block the signal so it stops sending the signal to the TV. I’d like to return this item and get a refund but we are past the return window.

Perfect, better range than my OEM remote, stays charged for a long time, definitely a buy!

Legitimate, half-priced replacement for original, overpriced remote
Setup Notes:***To some of the other reviewers: never assume something has arrived in the mail pre-charged and can be used directly out of the box. Give the remote a couple (literally 2) minutes USB charging before trying to pair it with a TV.***Once charged a little via USB (the LED came on appropriately to let me know when it was charging), it paired with the TV first try and worked the same as the original remote. I didn't use the voice assistant button with the original remote, but the replacement does trigger the same setup prompt for that feature by the TV.Look and feel:This remote looks and feels right. I was concerned about some of the pictures showing misspelled streaming provider buttons but it came with everything looking nearly identical, with all of the correct logos (clockwise for me: "Samsung TV Plus", "prime video" with arrow, "Disney+" with swoosh, and bent "NETFLIX"). The weight is close enough to have a negligible difference. Buttons push and click like the original. Like others have mentioned, every once in a while I had to double press to get a response, but I had to do that with the original remote so, maybe that's not a problem specific to the replacement remote but a battery-saving function in both remotes, or it could even be something with the TV/OneConnect/TizenOS. The stickers on the back are different than the original but probably not something most people bother inspecting. Similar to the original, I like that I don't have to point the remote at the TV/OneConnect box, and can keep my hands bundled under the covers and have full control of the TV.Solar Charging:When I look through the window on the bottom of this replacement remote, I can see a reflection showing 6 mini-solar panels, just like the original. I'm not sure of it's solar charging behavior but I wasn't sure of original remote either because of a goofy design flaw in the original. Leaving a remote to charge upside down, which does not lay flat but teeters on the raised bar buttons, was not something I was keen to get in the habit of because if you accidentally put too much pressure on the 'charging' remote (e.g. a kid leans on it trying to get at another remote), you could break or damage a button like volume(!) making the button more sensitive and triggering its action unintentionally. Samsung should have put the solar charging window on the top, below the buttons, so the remote could lay buttons-up like every_other_remote_everyone_has! But this rant is about a problem with Samsung's original remote; this replacement remote is only faithfully replicating that head-shaker of a design flaw. Samsung also doesn't make it easy to check the charge level of these expensive, special-featured remotes - so why bother using that feature and risk breaking it only to have to buy a pricey replacement which doesn't actually serve environmental goals of waste reduction? Samsung fail.Summary:I wanted something as close to an OEM replacement as possible but I didn't want to pay the laughable $100 Samsung wants for a *remote control*. This is it. It's well made and is nearly identical to the original. I would buy this again.

Yay it actually works on brand name tv!
Really impressed that this actually works ! It doesn’t have the best battery life, but I’m glad it does have a solar battery. It worked on my brand new frame tv.

Works with my Samsung Frame TV
Worked right away with my Frame TV that I had lost the remote to. Quick and easy to set up, works well, and the solar-charge function is very cool!
