Exitex Macclex 15/2 Metal Door Cill Draught Excluder Threshold - Aluminium 914Mm (36")

Quick delivery (by Royal mail) and item very well packed in thick cardboard tube so no chance of it being bent or damaged in transit. Simple to trim to size with hacksaw and item sturdy and well made with two rubber seals (will have to check if replacement seals can be purchased in case needed in future). Perfect for my needs for inward opening exterior door and I like that it has a low profile unlike others I looked at (requires just 13mm clearance between bottom of door & floor). Comes with screws and rawlplugs. For added weather protection i also used thin bead of clear silicon before screwing to floor and at the ends as there are no end caps and my door frame is wood and I didn't want to risk water dripping into threshold channel and pooling at the ends and rotting the frames.

Excellent product easy to cut with junior hacksaw. Perfect seal to the door and threshold.

Got this door seal as a replacement, once the old one was removed, it was easy to measure and cut the the right side.. when installed it gave a great seal to the door.. well worth it and now draft free

Put this at the bottom of my garage side door and did a cracking job. Make sure you use sealant under it while screwing down and after. No instructions come with it so it’s a bit of guess work but common sense kicked in eventually

The draught excluding threshold had caught on my door and was making the door hard to close and was damaging the bottom of my front door. The hardest part of replacing it was identifying the right pattern of threshold. Once that was done and the order placed it arrived promptly and was well packaged. Getting the old threshold off was a pain but fitting the new one was easy, requiring just 2 cuts with a junior hacksaw, using the old threshold as a template. Actually fitting it was easy, a quick job to apply some sealant to the base and then just screw it down, job done.It has been fitted for some months now and is doing a better job than the threshold it replaced.
