Basic multimeter - Great price! This is the first time I have owned this model.Out of the box, operated normally. I have only had this item a few days, so time will tellregarding its durability and functionality over time. Note: Very Small Screw holds the batterycompartment closed. Do Not lose this screw or it won't work! Also IMPORTANTt you will need avery fine screw driver( phillip screwhead in my unit) to access this screw. Another point, the leads areproprietary, you can ONLY use the leads that come with the set or maybe you can order others fromthe company. These points are important to consider depending on your requirements.

Good meter and good price. I was replacing 3 old meters that were 25 years old and not working well or not at all. Purchased 2 of these and very satisfied with the performance and price.

Unit is easy to use and functions as designed. Not much more to say other than this is a very good value.

This little meter is a great value. It has auto off BUT you can over ride it it by hold down the hold button while turning the unit on. Has a back light that stays on and YOU have to turn it off. The outer case is very protective and just plain awesome. It is a small meter and only 2000 count but how can they sell this and ship it to you for $15???? I use this unit for things I do not want to expose my expensive meter to....I have blown the fuses on it and it keeps taking it. I work on 12 volt systems....not sure if I would use around 240 or above....I just really like it and at the cost if anything happens I will just buy another one....astroai is great!

Glad I bought this. Easy to read instructions. Plenty of weight to feel right. Positive feel for selector disk. Lead tips have removable sleeves to protect from shorting adjacent wires. Flip-out panel on back to make it stand up or hook over something. Non-Contact function to sense a/c current in a live/dead circuit. Has Max setting to stop hysterical readings. Battery included. 2 replaceable fuses inside.

Checked on a voltage calibration device and compared with two high end Fluke meters. At 2.5vdc spot on, at 5vdc 5.02, at 7.5v 7.53, At 12vdc it reads 12.04v, at 124vac it reads 124.4v. Seems to add 4 to the least significant digit above 10v. This still with in the manufacture accuracy spec, your results may vary. This meter purchased as an emergency back up to keep in my vehicle for travel. Will probably rarely get used. For that purpose this accuracy fine and was on sale for $10. If this to be your only meter recommend spending more and get something nicer. Seems constructed well for the price and the back lit display easy to read, suspect it will hold up. so 5 star for that and no false claims.
