This monitor light bar is spectacular. I've had it for almost a year now. It still works perfectly and I'm even still using the included batteries for the remote. Thought I'd need to change them more often as I use this light bar every night..It's really bright and the backlight is a game changer. It's waaay brighter than having only the light on the front, and the ambient it creates is something else.The puck is amazing and it's way more practical than those rotatable ones. For the price I think there's no better monitor light bar than this one. My desk looks slick with it. And I can work or game way more comfortably at late night.If you're having doubts, go for it. I should have bought this sooner. A monitor light bar is something that you don't think that's suepr important for a desk setup until you get one and everything changes. And this one is a 10/10.At least at half the price of the BenQ ones, I don't really think you can do better.

It is well made, wide with good coverage, bright with a wide color temperature range and a weighty and easy to use remote control.The setup was simple, the remote touch control was automatically paired and I have yet to keep it beyond around 30% max brightness even when dark outside.There isn't any glare on my display from the light but it also has a fairly matte finish so take that into consideration with such an accolade.Overall I'm really impressed, I like having a light that doesn't take up desk space and isn't battery powered. The backlight on the bar can be toggled on with or without the primary light and is an awesome addition.Highly recommended.

Just received this today. Not bad overall.The good:* Illuminates my whole desk area.* Remote works well. It's nice to not have to fiddle with the light bar itself for power and brightness so you don't risk knocking it off your monitor.* 12 brightness & color temperature levels (push & hold the +/- buttons) or quick tap through 4 pre-set levels (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).* The mount is designed well. The counterweight is pretty heavy which is good. On top of that, the counterweight has a slightly sticky finish on it to further stop it from moving around.* Doesn't interfere with webcam. My Logitech webcam sits on top of it nicely without any issues.* Rear facing light helps with eye strain so there isn't such a stark contrast in lighting.The not-so-good:* I have to tilt the light bar a bit further toward my monitor than I'd like so that I don't get the actual lights in my field of view. It doesn't seem to create any problematic glare, so I'll live with it. Keep this in mind if the top of your monitor sits more than a couple inches above your eye level.The bad:No power adapter included. Seriously? I'm tempted to give this 3 stars because for $50, they ought to include a power adapter. There are dozens of knock-offs out there for half the price, this is the premium product. Seems like a weird corner to cut just to save a couple bucks.The manual suggests that you could plug it into a USB port on your computer or monitor, but it also indicates that a 5 volt 1.5 amp (7.5 watt) adapter is required. Your average USB port may not provide that much power. Standard output on a USB 3.0 USB port is 4.5 watts. It's possible for manufacturers to include features where the port can provide more power, but 4.5 watts is the spec. Since they only include a USB A to C cable, they're suggesting that you plug into a standard USB A 2.0/3.0 port. On the other hand, standard power output on a USB C port (without PD) is 7.5 - 15 watts, so if they're gonna skimp on the adapter, at least include a cable that matches the power requirements.
