I previously purchased a different style of weighted vest, which you can adjust the weights. I really did not like the design of that vest because, although it was designed for women, I felt like it pulled down too much on the chest and that area certainly does not need to be pulled down! Haha! I was looking for one designed like this that where I could still adjust the weights. I ran into this one, which has been made popular since a certain brand of home exercise equipment has added a few treadmill workouts with weighted vests. I was worried I wouldn't like that you can't adjust the weight, but, so far, I really like it! I got the 15 lb one and it seems just right. I often work out in the AM or mid-day and am on a sports team in the evening. It's about a mile walk to exercise class, so, I wear this on the walk too and from, and sometimes do a 30 min stair run/walk after working out, or, just walk/jog back. This is perfect because I'm not worn out, but, you do definitely know you're putting in more effort. You can jog easily or walk, or, really do whatever you want. Other reviewers say they keep this on while doing household chores, for example. It does have a smell, but, I kept it outside for a few days on my balcony after I was done exercising and now it's fine. The second day I had it, I left it overnight in my car and it didn't make my car smell or anything like that. It is just the normal smell that comes with Neoprene. I think it's a good value for this kind of product. I bought this instead of another similar one because it came with a bag for your phone, etc., but, I admit I haven't used the bag. I use my normal crossbody bag over the weighted vest, so that the crossbody bag strap isn't trapped. It's a little awkward, but, it works for the short distances I've used it so far.

Im fairly easily influenced so of course I bought into this weight vest walking era. I am 150ish lbs and am moderately fit. I bought the 12lb vest and I feel like that was the appropriate weight for me. The weight feels balanced between the chest and back (not back heavy or front heavy). The vest itself is very comfortable, easy to put on/off and has that nice (removable) pouch that can easily fit phone/keys/money. I would recommend this product although it should be mentioned if you have any neck/shoulder issues you should be more hesitant of the weight you choose.It should also be mentioned if you have a larger frame/ chest this may not work for you, my husband can put it on but it looks tiny on him and he isn’t able to clip the chest straps.The only negative about this product as well as other vests is that there is no easy way to clean/ deodorize it. So if you’re a heavy smelly sweater I would take that into consideration since you’ll be walking around with a super smelly weighted vest.

I love using this vest when I'm on my walking pad at home. I don't usually wear the vest out because it is bulky but it adds intensity to simple workouts. I don't walk fast or on a steep incline with the walking pad, so its the boost I need. I went with 14 lbs weight after reading the recommended weight for your vest is about 10% of your body weight. So, its heavy and I want to be able to take it off quickly and easily when Im done. The phone holder is extremely helpful. I plan on purchasing a smaller, lighter version for outdoor jogs, but this gives me a boost I enjoy during my low intensity workouts. The quality is great, no rips or wear and tear and I've had this several months now and wear regularly. The black color has not faded and it holds up.

This vest is amazing!!! I ordered a 12lb vest but going to get the 20lb. I have a really big chest and need more weight for my back for better support and better posture. I love how it does not smash my chest a lot of the weight is more in the back of the vest which helps so much. I highly recommend. My daughter now wants one in pink and my son also wants one.
