The media could not be loaded. I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says "new" so I guess that's why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn't make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It's a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It's a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it's just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn't take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It's amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn't work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy.Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don't know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don't want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don't use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it's brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren't cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn't cleaned it in 3 weeks! That's crazy! Please don't do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem.I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it's about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!

During the winter I noticed the dry air making me stuffy and my nose too dry and tending to be a bit bloody, so got this humidifier and it was perfect for my bedroom. It took about 2 nights for relief and I didn't have any more problems. It is very easy to add water: just lift the top and pour it in. I later moved the humidifier to the table where my plants live by the window to give them some mist, which worked well.Not wanting to continue buying distilled water, I purchased antimicrobial cartridges and the cute purifying fish here on Amazon. Both have worked well and I've yet to have any problems. The filter turns orange after a few weeks, but replacements are cheap on Amazon.The unit is silent and the tank holds enough to run all day. The size is good for a bedroom or for a small apartment. I would definitely recommend.

I got this humidifier because I cannot sleep if there is any visible light in my room, and this is one of the only ones I could find with no lights. It works fine humidifying my bedroom, even here in very dry Colorado. However, as other reviewers have noted, this humidifier quickly develops a pink mold problem. You must completely disassemble the tank part of the unit to clean it, which is not easy to figure out. There is a center piece that is clipped in, if you do not unclip and clean it a "mother" of pink mold grows, and then you can never defeat the mold problem. On the other hand, it's fairly easy to figure out how to remove the filter piece. However, there's another cylindrical part whose function I don't understand, and we could only get it unclipped using vice grips. Also, be very careful re-assembling the unit. If you do not get it seated properly on the little blue seal (which you will see once you take the tank completely apart) the unit will leak badly when water is added. Also you must use filtered or distilled water unless you're okay with the filter turning brown.

I got this humidifier because its the same brand as the purifiers we have. I absolutely love it. Its easy to clean and refill. It does need distilled water so absolutely no tap water. It cuts off when its empty and let's you know that its empty with a little red light. We bought 2, one for each of my sons and they have been so helpful. They're very nice and small and hold a lot more water than you'd think! It seems super durable with the way that its made and its very sleek. I couldnt believe the price of it when I seen it online, so happy we purchased this!

This humidifier works great and I felt like I was sleeping and felt better after just a few nights. We only have to refill it about every 2-3 days and you can't even hear it when its on. However, be careful where you place it. We originally had it on the floor and we woke up the first morning with our floor completely soaked - we thought we had knocked over a drink in our sleep. The next night, we moved it to the night stand, the mist coming out completely soaked the bed and the night stand. We decided it was best to keep a towel underneath and keep it on a low low setting.

This humidifier works like a charm. The fact that we use it in the bigger master bedroom and I can notice a difference in there alone speaks volumes. One night my son's nose was stuffed up enough I could hear his messed up breathing. We slapped this thing in there for the next few nights, and every single night it was quiet sleeping. Honestly, I think I could feel the difference in my breathing as well. The cleaning of it is super simple too. I would definitely buy this again!
