I'm studying for the NEC exam. In my opinion, Mike Holt's training material is the best study books. It has color pictures illustrating most of the code sections. It's clear and well written.

Fantastic book for anyone studying for their electrical exam.

This was required for our class, but it is not a great value. It is lots of PowerPoint slides, printed too small to read the details on many diagrams. Then some of the the slide info is repeated in the text. Way to fluff up your page count, Holt.The quizzes in back can be useful. They are not always accurate. Buyer beware.
