Used once so far without problems. Just a little peeved that I had to but a complete new unit, because the battery in my old one died. The cost of a replacement battery (which would be quite easy to fit) was substantially more than the cost of the complete unit. Crazy - So much unnecessary waste and damage to the planet!The problem with these things is that you only need them once in a blue moon. And when you need them either the battery is flat, because you haven't needed it, so its been forgotten and not charged, or you've kept it on charge and the battery is totally cooked and useless! I've set this one up on a timer so it gets 15 minutes charge every day. So how that goes!

My car wasn't used for a while, this jump starts a flat battery in one go. It is now used by all my neighbours on the street with the same problem, they borrow, start car and return. You just charge it at home and take out to the car, no power lead needed in the street. Something I will always carry in my boot, have twice stopped and helped strangers using this. But, make sure it is properly stored if carrying in your car and leads are fully isolated, this boy packs a punch!

Used on car to jump start

can't hold sufficient charge to jump start a lawn mower. these things are pathetic, they don't work and there are a million different rebaged versions of the same crap. inside them they have like a 10 amp hour battery capable of literally nothing. do not rely on this to jump your car or even pump up your tyres as the motor is pathetic.

I was confused at the beginning because there is no on/off switch on the machine. It took me a while to work out just simply clip them to the battery and wait for a while before turn on the ignition. I was skeptical at the beginning with few bad review but overall it works on my Honda Jazz.

Bought this to jump start the car...if need be, on cold mornings. Has been sort of "ok" in that it does provide some extra juice but sometimes it is just not enough. In the end I just used it as a compressor for pumping up the tyres. At least it wasn't expensive. I would say you get what you pay for and if your REALLY need something to jump start a car occasionally I would spend more and get a better designed and more powerful product.

In the cold months car batteries are prone to failure. So I bought this to ensure that I would be able to start the car, whatever the weather. It is light in consideration that it contains lead acid batteries and I like the feature that it can be kept charged up in the car by means of the cigarette lighter adapter. So it can be kept in the car and is always ready for use.

I don't know what to say, had it for a few years now, still as new as I first bought it, works great and does the job. I think every household should have this, it saved a trip to the garage to get my car checked out several times!
