Highly Recommended for Young Crafters
This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my 10-year-old granddaughter. She adores all kinds of crafts! She loved this kit! It was easy for her, and she couldn't wait to show me the beautiful, knitted hats that she made. She did an awesome job and had lots of fun in the process!

Daughter got the hang of it after a few rounds
Got this for my daughter (9). Written instructions are pretty straightforward. The diagrams could be a little clearer. I crochet so it made sense to me, but if have no experience with crochet or knitting, it might be tricky to decipher the images.

Made great hats
My daughter has used this to make two hats and they both turned out great. The yarn that comes with it is fine, but I can see why you would want to try thicker yarn to make softer, fluffier hats and scarves.
