Hook Point: How to Stand Out in a 3-Second World

This is one of the better books on branding that I have read. You are told why, and then follows up with walking you through the steps to develope an authentic and usable 'hook point' as he calls it. And the steps are the thinking and work you do. The next thing you know, you have your own version of Nikes "Just Do It," that will anchor your own brand.

There's alot of high value here

Good book on how to deal with the 3 second attention spans that our target markets have. We have multiple online stores and are always struggling on how to capture eyeballs and hold on to them. Good advice.

This book is a must read for any business and or personal brand. The author shows us how having the right hook points can change everything for you

If you’re looking to build your business in this new world of marketing and capturing your target audience’s attention in this world full of noise. Then you should purchase, read and do what the author recommends. He gives good tips on how to stand out and how to test your content to avoid making the same mistakes. I like how each chapter gives a summary of what was discussed…easy for me to get back to the information I need.

I couldn't even finish this one. I read 8-10 books per month, I just couldn't get through it. The cover and sales literature to sell this book is a bit overdone. After reading the cover and reviews, I really was looking forward to a great read, just move on, check out another book.

Very practical & applicable with tons of lessons bookmarked for later. Kane has a great storytelling style that makes for an enjoyable read throughout.The only drawback being there's a LOT of self promo in the book, which does get a bit redundant.Overall, Great book for anyone looking to learn about Marketing & Content Creation

This book is fantastic. Definite recommend especially if you are in the marketing, media industry.
