I was looking for a good set of storage containers for my kitchen use. These fit the bill perfectly. I do like that they are thicker, nor flimsy at all, so they will last a good while. Good on the top unit on your dishwasher for cleaning -- the biggest win on this is the lid closes well, and the weight of the plastic used. They both function well and are durable. No spills. I do not like microwaving items in plastic, so they will not be used for that purpose, so can't comment on that, but overall for my use these are a very good buy and price was in a good range.
