Q: I have a kindle paperwhite.. diagonal measurement 7.8"; overall measurement 4.5" x 6.75". will this cover work for me?

I don't think it will work. The opening is 4.75 x 6.75. Diagonal 8.25. anything smaller would not be secure.

Q: Will this cover fit the glowlight plus model bnrv700?

I have the Nook model BNRV700 (8GB). It fits very nicely. Was a bit of a challenge getting it in until I saw how it was constructed. The construction and fit makes a very secure package, protecting it well on all sides. I bought the one with the star/constellation pattern as a 2nd cover, I like the design; it's a bit slick to hold onto. The black is better to hold with it's pebbled cover finish. Both seem to be holding up quite well with daily use. I like the easel feature, the hand strap is nice but a bit awkward as I'm right handed. Having used other mfg. covers in the past with my older, smaller Nook ereaders, this cover is far superior in construction and materials. I wish B&N would step up to the plate on their covers, but have given up on them. Let me know if you have any more questions. Quality product, nice price point.
