Perfect fit. You can do it yourself by being careful
This was a perfect fit for my Intel NUC. The bearing on the old fan had worn out and were getting noisy. I had to be careful, but everything went fine the first time around. Nice and quiet.

Fit and finish were fine; didn't last long
Intel has sold their NUC business off to Asus, which has made some nice improvements. The cooling system which uses this fan is just a bad design in my opinion, replacing the fan wasn't that useful and soon this one was noisy and labored too.

Fits and Works Very Well
I had to replace a CPU fan in a NUC computer. This part fit perfectly, was detected by the BIOS and spins at the proper RPM. Lifespan is good so far, running for months now. The noise is comparable to the original fan the unit replaced.

Cools Well
My home Plex server is a NUC, and it crashed last night due to overheating. It was obviously a fan failure. My NUC was so hot when this happened that you couldn't even keep your hand on it for more than a couple of seconds. This replacement fan arrived a few minutes ago, and I already have my server back up and running. The NUC feels nice and cool now, and I'm so thankful for the fast overnight shipping. The problem with these NUC fans is they aren't ball bearing. It's a design flaw, but not a flaw with this product. If you run your NUC 24x7x365 like me you'll inevitably have to replace it every couple years. They don't usually go out immediately, so to be proactive check your NUC's temperature periodically.A few days before my fan failed my NUC's CPU was running about 163 degrees Fahrenheit. After replacing the fan it's been doing 114 degrees Fahrenheit. My NUC Plex server runs on Linux (Rocky Linux to be specific). At 163 degrees it was giving temperature alarms at bootup, in the system logs, and when running the "sensors" command. I just ignored it when I shouldn't have. I've now added a cron job that alerts me via email to any temperature alarms going forward.I bought my NUC in 2021 and had to replace the fan in 2023. Now I've had to replace it again in 2025. The last fan I bought in 2023 never got the temperature down below 130 degrees. This one got it down to 114, which I am very happy to see. This is a good fan as far as NUC fans go. Thus, the reason for 5 stars.
