Clairol Professional Shimmer Lights Purple Conditioner | Neutralizes Brass & Yellow Tones | For Blonde, Silver, Gray & Highlighted Hair

I colored my hair silver a while ago. I love it! So I brought this conditioner to go with the shampoo first this smells so good and that nice scent lingered for a while left my hair feeling very soft and full!

Holy cow. I bleached my hair near white. I ran into three major problems - Keeping blonde near white was hard, I either over or under toned. So I switched to pastel colors but those would fade within 7 days, and it was getting expensive. I mostly played with pinks and purples. The final issue being protein overload.This conditioner is perfect. With just regular conditioning it gets out the yellow tones. If I let it sit for a half hour I get a beautiful purple tone. AND no protein, so I can balance out my hair so it doesn't break as much.

I am writing this only because of other reviews I have seen of how this item was received. The cap on mine was taped shut and therefore, no spillage of the product. Also, was packaged securely in the box. Very happy with this shipping. Also, this is a product I have used for years, love this.

ok, i bought this only after buying the shampoo from the same brand since the shampoo is really drying. i do think that this conditioner helps counteract some of the drying powers of the shampoo, but it is really watery, and it does feel like a cheaper quality of conditioner. HOWEVER, i will say that this conditioner does a great job toning the hair. i would suggest put the shampoo in for a bit, and then for the rest of your shower just keep this conditioner in, so it still tones your hair without causing the same drying problems the shampoo does--but it is definatly not high quality conditioner, so be aware.. still giving it 4 stars, as i bought this to tone my hair, not to really be the conditioner, as i use my colour safe conditioner supllemental to this between toning sessions

Nice for taking yellow out of your hair.

This is by far the best toner I have used! Best price as well! It does dry out your hair a little bit so I recommend a deep conditioner afterward but not nearly as drying as other brands I have used! It made my blonde brassy hair into a very nice ash blonde. 😍

The purple seems to stain my scalp.
