If you recognize that this mug not insulated or spilled proof, you can appreciate it for what it is, and that is possibly the best standard ceramic mug on the planet. That you can also take in the car. The silicone sleeve is like a soft warm hug as you drink your coffee, and the coffee doesn't get metallic. You can just sit and enjoy your coffee with less risk of spills. As a father of 2 young children, I think I just found my new favorite thing in my morning routine. If this chips or breaks, I will immediately buy a new one with 0 regrets. If you need a vacuum insulated monster, look elsewhere. This is my second one of these. I make hot tea in them, and they keep in the heat OK and provide a secure grip. For better or for worse, the silicone sleeve is still tight on my old one, and my new one is finally loosening up a bit, so it doesn't take forever to remove it for dishwashing. Black tea is not kind to teeth or porcelain, it seems, so accept that you will see stains on the inside of the tumbler.

The media could not be loaded. I'm a fan of mugs for coffee and prefer them over the normal to go cups and I wanted some sort of ceramic to go cup that would fit in my car's Cup holder.I didn't have many other requirements other than that and to be halfway durable and that's the reason for the four stars instead of five. The overall quality is pretty good and I am happy with it especially for this price, however, I'm on my third one as the first one broke because I somewhat gently bumped it into the sink while washing it and it shattered. The second one was totally my fault it was in a duffel bag that I threw out of my truck and it shattered upon impact. This third one I did the same as the first and it chipped but it didn't break.I've been using it like this for a long time and it hasn't gotten worse but I've been pretty careful with it.As far as temperature control this works about as well as a mug but the lid does help keep some heat in. The Seal of the lid is good as well it doesn't leak. It would if you were to shake it violently or dump it upside down or something but that's not what this is for.Overall I'm happy with the product I've told myself if this one breaks I won't buy another one but honestly I probably will because there's not a whole lot of things like this on the market it seems

Love this cup, I’ve had a few of these and love how they fit in my hand and the cars cup holder. They hold the right amount of coffee or tea for me. I love that I can microwave them. Ive had no issues with the lid leaking or falling off.My teenage daughter has dropped and broken these a couple of times but I still replace them as I prefer drinking out of ceramic to metal and love these cups.

I used it once with hot coffee. The taste was good. I was using a durable stainless steel one for 2 years and got tired of the taste not like a regular ceramic or glass mug. The lid sealed fine and was tolerable with splashing around. If you hold it upsidedown it will likely leak. My reduction of 2 stars is mainly because in 45 minutes the coffee was cold, a disappointment that I returned it. If you're a fast drinker or just want something cold it's fine, but it will not keep hot beverages hot for even an hour.

At first glance, this seemed like a great product—but unfortunately, it’s been nothing but frustrating. The biggest issue is the poorly designed lid. While sipping, the flow is inconsistent: it starts slow, and then suddenly splashes, leading to multiple spills. I’ve ended up with coffee on my clothes more times than I can count, and it’s incredibly embarrassing to walk around at work with a stain.Another major disappointment is temperature retention. Despite being marketed as a travel mug, it does not keep your coffee hot. In fact, I feel like a regular ceramic mug at home does a better job at maintaining warmth than this one.I regret not listening to the other reviews warning about these same issues. Ultimately, the design flaws—especially the lid—completely outweigh any aesthetic appeal. I really wanted to love this mug, but I can’t recommend it due to the mess, frustration, and cold coffee.
