I bought this unit during Black Friday, along with the parts for an entire sound system upgrade, and recently had my local shop install the radio into my 2013 Hyundai Sonata to replace the factory stereo for the stock Infinity system with Nav and amp.This unit is pretty simple, or as in depth as you want it to be, and if you aren't familiar with Kenwood/Jensen, I'd recommend watching some vids on YouTube to get a feel for all of the features.The BT connectivity, Android Carplay, wireless screen mirroring, Sirius XM, all work flawlessly and connect automatically without issue once setup.The sound is clean and plenty loud, don't let the numbers fool you. With the addition of the iDatalink Maestro RR2, my factory backup camera and stock functions work as originally intended.This unit has a built-in DSP that supports up to a 3 way system; Tweeters, door speakers and subwoofer, which can all be equalized seperately along with Time Alignment, Gain, as well as HPF and LPF. Even if you have more than 4 channels amplified, as I do, this unit only recognizes the front, rear, and subwoofer. With only about 20 minutes of tuning, it's already cleaned up the sound from my factory speakers and sub 10x easily.The widgets and background are all customizable with the click of the screen. The screen isn't true HD 1080p, but its plenty clear and bright without too much glare. The mount is adjustable to get the perfect viewing angle just in case.PROS:Loud, clean sound and signal. 5v preouts for front, rear and sub.Clear, crisp screen with lots of customization options for brightness and convenience.DSP features to allow for the most basic equalization to very in depth for the tweakers and tuners like myself.Graphic and parametric equalizer options.High quality product from a company you can trust!CONS:None!The price could be argued, but you get what you pay for. This is a top of the line unit that you'll have a hard time beating with a different brand for the same price.

I have owned many stereos in vehicles in my life, but this is by and large..the best. Simplicity in operation, and the use of my on board camera system truly make this unit shine. Installed in my Diesel Pusher motorhome, the backup camera and the turn signal cameras create the entire screen as a monitor, When using the navigation via Android auto, again, I can see the entire screen being used as a monitor. Finally, a stereo with a knob for volume control...again..another win win. If you are contemplating a new system for whatever vehicle you are driving...I give this a 10 star rating out of 5 stars! You will not go wrong with this unit!

Very nice head unit. Works flawlessly every time. I used the maestro harnesses dash kit and made install a breeze.

This is a top of the line unit with a plethora of audio adjustments. My only complaint is lack of customization as far as screen dimming, backgrounds, etc. Highly responsive touch screen however.

Bought this to replace factory radio on an 07 Toyota Sequoia with JBL. Definitely save your time and get an amp bypass kit, more than likely your JBL amp is cooked. Installation of the screen is straightforward, size of the screen is perfect enough for the vents to be usable still. Quality is top knotch, button presses are tactile and volume knob is smooth. Zero display lag, plenty of functions with this unit, more than what I need. Sound is crisp for my needs, I have these paired with the new gen Alpine type R speakers. Overall extremely happy with my purchase.

Technical issues with this unit are constant. When using apple car play the display freezes constantly and the only way to get it going again is to restart the device. Prepare to have to navigate several times even on shorter trips.Also, bizarre design choice to not include a ‘night mode’ on this thing. Having it on is blinding at night and you cant even turn off just the display without killing music / navigation / whatever else you're trying to do.Have been through troubleshooting a few times with Kenwood support. Tried factory resetting and switching from Bluetooth / wifi connection to hard wired. Issues persist. This is unacceptable for a $1k unit.

Awesome radio

Nightmare to install in my 2014 WRX. Seems to be an open issue track for several years regarding Android Auto no longer auto-launching (now requires manual intervention while driving) that Kenwood seems remiss in addressing despite an overwhelming chorus of complaints. Guessing Kenwood wants to stay out of the software development game - so while the audio controls will satisfy even critical audio enthusiasts, the interface feels incredibly and decisively neglected. If I had known this I would have completely avoided this absurdly priced head-unit.
