The ferrite magnet in the product description is wrong. This product is actually a neodymium magnet, because this magnet is small and the magnetic force of a single magnet is not strong, but multiple magnets will produce greater magnetic force when used together.

Q: Do they work in Forks and Knifes?

If the fork and knife are made of metal materials such as iron, nickel and cobalt, the fork and knife will be adsorbed on the magnet.

Q: Would these be strong enough to make magnetic earrings?

Hi, if you refer to magnetize a pair of these 5x2mm magnets on both side the earlope to make the magnetic earring, then yes they're strong enough to do that as i've tried after you asking this question, they stay well on the ears but I think there is extra pressure than I've expected personally.

Q: Do these magnetize to each other?

Yes, each magnet has a negative and positive side. I use these small ones when I craft gift bags/purses that have a flap. Works great.
