Much needed peace and quiet.
They worked great. I needed to close out loud speaker phone conversations in my home. It was reduced to a whisper. The only issue was they were uncomfortably tight fitting. This was resolved by leaving them propped wide open for a couple of weeks when not in use.

Good product. No complaints. Size runs small!
One would need laboratory equipment to accurately verify the db rating. That said, they are "good" ear protection.I use them when operating loud power equipment and at the gun range. No complaints: they are decent; comfortable.NOTE: If you are an adult and have an "average size" head you NEED the "Extra Large" size.I don't understand the posts about them breaking easily. It would appear to me they are as well made/designed as all others in this general price range for a Consumer retail product. With common sense treatment, they should last a long time. They are made of Plastic.... not stainless steel! If you need a more durable unit, you should be shopping for Mil Spec or SWAT quality items!

Great noise reduction, while being very comfortable to wear.
These muffs are comfortable and very effective. I've only used them once, while using a chop-saw to shorten a PTO shaft. The sound level with the muffs was almost at conversation level, rather than the screaming noise of the cutting wheel going through steel. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Not as high NRR as advertised
PRO: fits around my ears so I don't get annoying ear pain.Con: will get sweaty (what else can you expect). I use them in conjunction with safety glasses and a ball cap and they leak enough sound that I'm not sure how much good they're doing, maybe around 12 dB reduction. I've used them a few times without the hat and glasses and I'd say they're closer to 20-25 dB. This is compared to my experience using the Howard Leight laser light ear plugs (yellow/orange ones) with an advertised NRR of 32. My experience, as one who actually shoves the foamy's in all the way, is the foamy's are better, but hurt my ears after a while. So for now I switch back and forth.

Definitely worth it
That these, because I was interested to see what a difference they would be from the other one side purchased earlier and there is a very noticeable difference. I wear insert earplugs underneath all of my earmuffs, but the difference was shocking between these and the more expensive 23 dB electronic earmuffs I had purchased. For the price I am extremely pleased. They feel very stable.

Worth the extra money.
Very effective, I was amazed at the difference between my "old" set and the 3m product. They fit my large head as well.

Not adjustable
Is not adjustable. If you got a big head, they’re not gonna be comfortable
