The Perfect Approach to re coat your nonstick metal grill pads!
Sure enough, given enough time, wear, and use you'll need to repair your nonstick grill pads. Design Engineering's High-Temperature Silicone Coating Spray is the way to go on metal grill pads!

Seems like a quality product, was easy to use and did three light coats, then hit it with one heavier. Looks good now, but I just put them on the car and ran it for one day. My son was impressed with the job!

Hit or miss
The stuff works great for spraying down wrapped Headers. Unfortunately half the time you get the stuff the canned malfunctions. Pretty expensive stuff I imagine it sits on the shelf for a long time

High temp silicone spray
It worked as they said it would

Used over exhaust wrapper to make it black, looks okay
It was recommended I spray a high temperature silicone on top of a wrapper that I'd applied to my engine exhaust. This seems to have worked fine, I did not notice any smoke or bad fumes, however when applying it it would definitely be recommended to wear a mask because micro spray particles of this product really get inside your breathing Airways.
