Great nibblers
These work great a lot easier than cheers. I see you guys complaining about the grip, pinching your hand they only do that if you have it held too high up on the handle and you’re not supposed to close them completely every time you squeeze halfway does the trick

Very Nice Tool! Works Very Well For Its Intended Purpose
I bought these nibblers to do a specific job to install a heat extraction vent in an automobile hood. I needed nibblers that would not distort the sheet metal and make a mess of it. I have had experience with Knipex tools before, and they are very high quality. These performed great for my task, and you can achieve a very high level of precision with them once you use them for just a few minutes. I only used them to cut single layer autobody sheet metal. I can see where other folks had issues or actually broke the cutter jaw on theirs by trying to cut sheet metal that was too thick. If you use them properly they are more than worth the money.

Works great. Holds up over time. Good quality to cost ratio.
Works great. Holds up over time. Good quality to cost ratio. I like them and have no complaints. I did however buy an electric nibbler and it’s so fast I’ll never use them again.

Great Quality
I’m a big Knipex fan. I have a number of their tools and they are always great quality. I’m using these nibblers to cut 20 gauge (around 0.038”) 304 stainless steel, which is much harder to cut than mild steel, and these nibblers are doing a great job. The stainless is close to the maximum size that these nibblers can cut and I feel like the blade is going to wear out faster than it otherwise would. I’m glad to see that you can buy new replacement blades at a decent price.I would definitely recommend these nibblers, especially compared to the cheap brands being sold on Amazon. These are from a very reputable brand and they are relatively cheap for such good quality.

Will hurt to use
Good quality tool, but the poor grip design will pinch your hand. Gloves are a must or throw the tool away!

A well made learning experience with limited usefulness.
Cuts well but way too easy to pinch your fingers when the punch breaks all the way through the metal. Also won't cut all the way to the edge of an enclosed box wall because of the cutter design. It's a well made tool, but the head limits its usefulness and learning to keep your fingers safe is a painful experience.

Two thumbs up (and no bandages).
My wife wanted me to weld a sheet metal backing to a metal picture frame and all I had to cut the metal was some snips. I knew they would leave a jagged edge with lots of metal deformed by moving the snips around. I did a bit of research and found nibblers recommended for cutting this kind of thing. I was surprised by the high price, and figured I would probably never use them again to make a picture frame so was a bit reluctant to make the purchase. Alas this was turning into yet another example of a special project becoming far more expensive than they should, but I didn't see another good option and I rationalized that if they are a quality tool they should last a long time. I purchased the tool, and it worked surprisingly well for what I wanted from it.In using it I learned it had another very significant advantage over snips. If you've ever tried to make something from sheet metal you know that if you use snips you get one sharp edge above the tool and another sharp edge below the tool. Normally those sharp edges point towards your hands as you use the tool, and keeping your hands from getting cut up can be a challenge. With nibblers that isn't a problem. In addition to being able to cut a fairly smooth straight line, the cutting part of the tool keeps both cut edges below the tool and away from your hands. No sliced fingers. Wow. Suddenly the price isn't so painful.

Broke 3rd time I used them
I only used these on residential HVAC ductwork and they broke on the 3rd use. Honestly it was way easier and more efficient using the standard $25 metal snips.
