Q: Does it work for the charbroil 463251414

Pay attention to the part of the description that says "push button". This unit contains the button that you push to ignite. My Char Broil has a button on the front that activates the spark. This version is different. It works, but not with the front mounted button. One of these days I'll learn to read the whole description before I buy.

Q: I have a master forge 3 burner grill - is it comparable with existing grill wires for the igniters?

I have a 3 burner grill also..... hooked it up to the old wires and it works perfectly.... Took about 30 seconds

Q: I don't think this is four sparks -- I think it's three sparks and a ground. If this is four sparks, where does the ground connect?

I have three main burners and a separate side burner, and it works flawlessly. Connect each wire to each of the terminals at the burners. The ground is through the body of the grille itself. Make sure when you mount the ignition module that the area is clean dry and has a good contact point.
