Avoid purchasing Godrej Navtal locks at all costs. Within a month of acquiring one, it becomes impossible to unlock after securing it. Despite numerous attempts, it remained locked. Ultimately, I had to gently tap it with a hammer on all sides to get it open. I reached out to Amazon for a return or refund, but since the return period had expired, they advised me to contact Godrej for a replacement. I sent several emails to Godrej's customer service, but received no response. Eventually, I called them directly. They provided me with a technician's contact number, who informed me that because the lock's value is under Rs 500, it cannot be replaced! This is the level of customer support offered by Godrej. Therefore, I strongly advise against purchasing any locks from Godrej. There are many other quality locks available on Amazon. Godrej may have a reputable name, but their product quality is severely lacking!
