Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. He absolutely loves it! When they say complete collection they mean it! Every Sherlock Holmes is in this one book. Pretty small print, just so you know if you have bad vision. But thick, and so so beautiful!

Got this for a friend for Christmas. Very happy with how it looks and that it is a complete collection.

Wonderful edition of an addictive reading, full of intelligence, suspense and humanity. As an object, the book is heavy (~1200 great pages) and beautiful, however the bound cover, a magnificent retro reconstitution, is quite flimsy - some colours can slightly disappear. But for that reasonable price, it's a very very beautiful object, and I strongly recommend it.Also, in this big book with no drawings, the print is very small, which is not a problem for me, but can be if you don't have a very good sight.A last little problem: I had a little print defect when my command arrived at home, but I just had to make a quick manipulation with my scissors to fix it.

Amazon sells two similar one-volume hardback editions of The Complete Sherlock Holmes: the Knickerbocker Classics 2019 edition (ISBN-10 1631066447) and the Barnes and Noble Classics Omnibus 2015 edition (ISBN-10 1435167902) that are both very good buys if you don't mind the rather small type. Both editions are sewn (not glued) with sturdy covers, and both include all four novels and all 56 short stories. Neither edition has illustrations. The Barnes and Noble edition has gold colour edging. I have summarised the measurements of both editions in the Table illustration. Both books are very good value, but the Knickerbocker edition is AU$10 cheaper (at amazon.com.au in July 2020) with slightly larger type and a much larger gap between the lines - which makes it easier to read.
