I bought this to illuminate a stairway which has a dark runner carpet on. It’s backed with a strip you pull off to expose the adhesive side. You’ll finger they’re smaller than expected but that’s not a problem. I recommend working carefully. Measure first by unrolling the lights to see where to start and where the bottom will end up which for us was near an electrical outlet. I started at the top of the stairs, pressing the lights on the wall along the stairs. Take your time, do 2 to 3 inches at a time to make sure it’s straight. There are 5 brightness setting, the lowest one is really bright and the others? Way too bright for me, I use the lowest setting. Still working after 6 months, no dead lights.

The media could not be loaded. I installed these a laser enclosure I made for My small Xtool laser. They work perfect! The enclosure was pretty dark before, but as you can see in the video it turned it to daylight in there. It was super easy to install with just the self adhesive. It seemed quite sticky and I haven't had any issues with it falling off yet. I like the simple control and it had plenty of wire to place it where you need to. The controller even has adhesive on it so you can stick that wherever. I didn't quite need the entire length so I took scissors and cut on the "cut" line and it is perfect.

As part of what’s quickly becoming a full Govee ecosystem in my life, these white LED strips are another solid win. The light output is fantastic — bright, crisp, and adjustable without the weird bluish tint you sometimes get from cheap LEDs. Overall, I have good things to say about these lights. We use them on a daily/nightly basis. We control them through the Govee app which I use for other lights in the house and it is incredibly intuitive and full of options and we have had no issues with connectivity there. The color options are vast and the suggestions that they have on the app for different color combinations are very fun. We’ve owned these for several months and we haven’t had any issues with LEDs flickering, going out, or being out of sync with other LEDs on the strip. Actually, we have purchased two of these strips and the app syncs them both wonderfully side-by-side. It’s also fun that the mic syncs with the noise around it, like voices and movies.This is a quality product made by Govee that I highly recommend. It doesn’t run on battery. We just plug it into the wall. I believe it came with a remote, but since we use the app so much, I don’t honestly remember anymore especially since the app just gives way more options than the remote. I highly recommend getting the app.My only minor complaint is that for the color pattern options, I wish the app allowed more precise control over which LEDs dots produce specific light. (I.e on a strip of 100 LED dots, the first 20 produce red while 80 other dots produce green.) but that’s a little specific for my case since I’m installed mine around a bookshelf, and I would love to have certain shelves illuminated with their own colors as opposed to the preset pattern designations by the app, which I think go in increments of maybe 15 dots.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this large gold mirror for a vanity I’m making. It didn’t come with lights and I initially tried lighting it with LED rope lights because of their sleek look, but they were too dim.I ordered these Govee lights because they were much cheaper (around half the price of the rope lights and three feet longer). They arrived the next day.They were so easy to use. The adhesive is strong and stuck to the arch mirror super well, even when I had to lift up the strip to reapply it because I had stuck it down crookedly.I love how it came with the buttons to turn it on and adjust the brightness. I placed the buttons at the center of the mirror, so it’s kind of like a regular vanity mirror. Amazing quality and super easy to use. Definitely recommend!

Easy to install and work great. I out the. Under my work beach and had enough length to wrap it around twice so nice and bright. Backing is strong and hasn’t sagged even a little in 6 months. Highly recommend for under cabinet mounting.
