Super space & time saving gadget
Bought the Ninja 9 in 1 to replace my small air fryer & cracked slow cooker. Best move! I’ve used it tons in 4 weeks of having it: everything from soups, quickly reheating quiches or cooking pasta in minutes to cooking a meal like perfect lamb chops with mashed potatoes! It’s a great time saver too.I rate it highly because:- simple to use- saves time esp pressure cooking for the first part of the recipe and finishing off with crisping by the air fryer (chef’s kiss for this!)- great functionality so it’s a space saver - no need for lots of kitchen gadgets on your worktops- easy to clean parts- solid & well made- instructions & recipe book are well written & easy to follow. One minor point: the recipe book doesn’t cover how to cook one everyday staple, pasta (except as part of a recipe where penne is cooked in the sauce, so not useful to cook pasta on its own/different types of pasta). However, I found plenty of guides from Internet chefs which cover this!

Brilliant cooker
This unit has many useful features. Having looked on you tube for ideas you are better just using common sense. The big advantage once you establish the mode of cooking as well as the temperature and time, a repeat of the operation is so easy, be it chips and things for kiddies to a roast chicken. Absolutely brilliant. The only minor negative is the handbook of recipes and guidance is in micro print a improved size of print would be very helpful. The internet has many sites which are helpful up to a point as they are mainly American and temperature guides are in Fahrenheit! The recipe principles are still the same. Bacon looped over the inverted rack is great after 9 mins on 200C and crisp and dry. A good cleaning tip for when cooking is completed, put the wire rack upside down in the bowl add drop or two washing up liquid then add 1 litre or so of water to cover the wire rack and shut the lid with the machine off. The residual heat will get the soapy water very hot and clean both the bowl and the wire rack while you eat. After 20 mins or so remove bowl and rinse out the residues. Two other issues to consider is the size of the machine it is not small and the separate pressure cooking lid has to be stored as does the crisper or wire rack. The other major consideration is where to use it, do not use it close to over bench cupboards etc, it generates steam and heat which exits from the top and could over time damage the cupboard facing etc. In use it needs to be ideally in clear open space not under cupboards. The setting of operations is very simple with a rotating knob to select and then push in centre to start.A very clever and useful addition to any kitchen which has the space to accommodate it.I have had this two weeks now and have made many bacon sandwiches, toasties, roast chicken, jacket potatoes garlic bread etc. They say if you can do it in a conventional oven you can do it in this Ninja. I am beginning to believe it.

Very Useful
Got this whilst it was on offer. This is ideal for me, allowing me to air fry, use as an oven and pressure cook. Brilliant. Do be aware that you'll need room to store the pressure cooking lid however this is a really useful bit of equipment and, as I can use it, it must be fairly simple to use. I would certainly recommend this because it's not too big for one or two people. This is important to me.

Easy quick grest:-)
I hate to say I love my Ninja so I'll say I like it very, very much:-) It arrived quickly and if I remember rightly I used it straight away, (after washing it naturally), to steam a kilo of new potatoes. Very quick and then I can cool and freeze. It is very easy to use. I did think oh I orgot to check if it grills, it doesn't, but actually doesn't matter as the crisper is great for most things and I have a toaster and grill anyway. The Ninja is very quick to cook, using the roast and bake with or without the crisper, which browns things beautilully. The temperature I find needs to be put lower by at least 10 if not 15 degrees and the time for cooking is less. When the crisper is used yes do heat it first if you want a crisp look as it says. If you do cook frozen pies I often found in my halogen that the bottom was soggy when I took them out of the container, with this there are no more 'soggy bottoms'. Remember to read the instructions first before you do anything. I made a mistake between the steamer and the pressure cooker one and the noise from the steamer is VERY loud. Espcially when you think you're pressure cooking - I hadn't clicked the switch over so was steaming instead of pressure cooking, my fault! I terrified myself wondering why the steam was shooting out of the lid and as I say it is noisy. Cleans very well, either pop the crisper and or the bowl in the dishwasher or with the crisper soak for a few minutes. This is a great little machine, I have the mini. Ideal for two people or three I would think. You can steam enough potatoes, chicken pieces etc to be able to use and freeze also. I am very happy woth it and thoroughly recommend it:-)
