Great looking highly functional case for a Pi4

The Pi4 is a very nice bit of hardware but it runs very hot out of the box, even without overclocking ... I had to throttle mine back to get decent temps and decided it really needed a decent enclosure. This stylish case protects the board and features a fan and a few heat sinks. It works great for me, core temps are consistently in the low 90's with the fan on lower voltage. Easy enough to put together and looks really good. Access to all the ports and GPIO pins too if needed. (Note that the fan connector uses either the 5v or 3v pin)

Quite fan operation at 5 volts

All ports are available for the pi 4b. Not sure about when a Hat is assembled into it. The fan is so quite I can't even hear it running. I have it running for days with no issues. Its nice when something just works like it is supposed to. This is a nice case for the pi 4b.

Keeping it at 32-33C with the 3.3V pin

While it would be difficult to assemble without instructions, the instructions are illustrated very well and the pi fit snuggly. The fan is keeping the temperature down. Without the case, the Pi was reaching 42 degrees Celsius, but with it (using just the 3.3V pin), it's hovering around 33C.I like its little rubber feet. They give it good traction so the weight of the cables don't move it around. The GPIO board is technically open for use in the case, but a little hard to access without tweezers. That said, the case is a little hard to take apart because it uses screws. They did include an extra screw and cap, which is good, because I think one cap was stripped when I took it apart while testing the fan on various GPIO pins. Here's what I found: based on the tests and the illustration in the instructions, the fan does seem specifically intended for the constant power pins (3.3V and 5V), because it didn't seem to get enough power through the GPIO pins (like pin 14) to turn on programmatically (I could give a prod to start spinning it when the programmable pin was toggled on, and while the spinning could sustain, it had negligible effects on the temperature).I learned that this is because the other programmable GPIO pins only give "up to" 3.3V depending on other power expenditure. So, I had to use the constant voltage pins to get the temperature reduction. I don't know how long the fan will last while always on, but I'll update if it dies quickly. If you are looking for a good programmable fan, you probably need one that will take 3 pins: ground, power, and input (rather than just ground and power like this one).It makes the pi's LED lights pretty hard to see from anywhere but directly above, so you might want a clear sided one if that's important to you.Overall, a good case for the price. If a programmable fan is important to you, the case might not be for you, but it suits my needs for now: keep it cool, keep the weight of cables from moving it, and make it look neat.

Great Raspberry Pi 4 Case - Engineering perfection!

This is the second Miuzei case I have purchased. This one for the Pi v4 does not disappoint. Instructions could not have been written better and give clear and concise steps to follow. Screws are metal and the nuts have an ingenious hat like design that seat themselves into the case for an amazing low profile and tight fit. The care and engineer this company has put into these cases is very well done.Make sure stack the slices in order pictured and make sure you place slice in step #5 before attaching the heat sinks as they have guided slots for where the heat sinks fit.I also made sure the label side of my fan was pointed downward (plain black side up) toward the heatsink to force airflow at the heatsink rather than draw airflow away from it.If you are on the fence for your Raspberry Pi 4 case I would look no further...this is the one for you.

Nice case for the price

Bought a rpi4 recently and wanted active cooling, the case my kit came with was just okay. This case is nice with the cooling fan and the look. Some layers of the material weren’t cut perfectly but for the price it does what I want and it looks cool. Directions are good and the kit was packaged well.

Great case, dropped my operating temp by 20℉

Bottom line:This case keep my Raspberry Pi 4 roughly 20 degrees cooler. I was shocked so i've tried to push the Pi 4 but the case keeps the Pi 4 much cooler than my original case. The fan is much quieter at high speed (5v) than the Canakit case that came with my Pi 4 kit. I have it in my office next to me while I work and it's not noticeable. The case arrived assembled. This was helpful to ensure I assembled it correctly (Instructions were clear and straightforward as well). The one significant problem with this case is that there is no guard over the fan. Given the size of the fan and how easy it is for something to get into it or jam it I plan to add a guard ASAP.

Functional

It's a bunch of cut layers that stack into a case. Unlike most cases, this assembles *around* the PI. The directions aren't clear which order the layers go (it has pictures, but some of the pieces look pretty similar) so if you drop it or otherwise lose track of the order it ships in, it can be a bit of a hassle to get right. The GPIO pins are pretty deep when assembled, so you'll need a needle nose to use those pins, or you'll have to disassemble the case, which increases the risk of having to play puzzle master to get it back together.Ultimately it works, but I wouldn't buy it again.

Excellent Cooling and Quiet Performance — Slightly Tricky Assembly

This Raspberry Pi case is sleek, well-designed, and does a great job keeping my Pi cool—even under load, temps stay nice and low. The fan is impressively quiet, which is a huge plus for anyone using this in a workspace or media setup. I found the materials and build quality solid, definitely worth the price. That said, assembly was a bit fiddly, moreso than the clear version of this product, and getting everything to fit just right took some patience. Overall, a great case with excellent cooling, but be ready for a slightly tricky setup.
