Fantastic cambro for sous vide cookery. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic cambro for a sous vide setup. It's big enough for a modest meat roast or several steaks. The neoprene jacket holds the heat in, and the lid retains heat to prevent evaporation. The rack is okay and separates portions. My only criticism is that the rack--while it's similar to most others on the market--is a little... precarious? Definitely not a show-stopper, though, because this chamber's great. If you need anything bigger, use a cooler or a tub.

I love it
I bought this after owning a cooker/circulator wand for quite awhile. It’s a smaller sized tub. It’s perfect for us because we don’t have a large family.Still, it took two plus gallons of water to fill past the wand’s minimum line. I like the little rack that’s included. It keeps the bags of food separated and in the vertical position so their surfaces get maximum exposure to the water. The sleeve that comes with the tub is nice. It keeps it insulated and also keeps some heat buildup off my countertop. The top slides off so you can tilt it before it’s completely removed to pour the condensation back into the tub instead of getting water all over your counter.I recommend this to you if you’re just getting started with sous vide or just want to sous vide small batches of food.

Useful product for 4 servings, but not many more, ... a bit pricey, ... the sleeve is slippery
Useful addition to my sous vide experience. There is a lot to like, because it is pretty well suited to sous vide cooking with my model of sous vide, if a bit pricey. The container is ample for more limited number of servings. It very comfortably handles 4 servings of things like steaks and chops. Feeding 8 could be a challenge. The underwater holders are serviceable and configurable. And the container is not so large as to be unwieldy. That's a good thing. It's efficient in its limitation.Additionally, the cutout in the top neatly anticipates my sous vide unit without modification.I like the idea of the neoprene sleeve because insulating the water container should help maintain temperature at higher temps more evenly. On the plus side it is reasonably thick and a decent insulator.... However, putting the sleeve on the container is a bit awkward because of the narrower base than top. In theory it slips on from the bottom. But it fits tightly and wants at every turn to slip back toward the bottom again. With no straps or loops to grip, this is an awkward process, that never actually satisfactorily is accomplished. The lack of attachment points to the container for this sleeve, threatens to make this a forever struggle. ... We'll see.Usually the recipe books that come with cooking appliances are not worth really saving. However, I was surprised to find the booklet inside these accessories offered up a number of recipes and ideas that merit looking at.Overall, I can recommend this. It serves its purpose. I'll reserve final judgment as to how well and conveniently until after more uses.

Great kit for sous vide
Great container, and kit, for sous vide! I’ve now used this about a dozen times, and not had any issues with it.The container is a “normal” plastic container, it seems like it will hold up for quite a while. The neoprene cover does seem to allow the water to get to temp and stay there without issue. I honestly have no data that tells me this, but it feels good to have it there! The metal rack that they gave has worked well so far to help keep items submerged and separated. Honestly something I didn’t realize I needed until I got this. Now I can package items individually and keep the water flowing around all of the food. The only down side is that the neoprene cover does have a normal smell for neoprene for about a week and a half. Just let it sit out in the open and the odor goes away. It of course does not impact the flavor or anything as it’s on the outside of the container! While I got this deal on a prime day special, it’s a good kit that gives you what you need to get started…

exactly as described
great package setup. Bought a new Sous Vide (Greater Goods Kitchen Sous Vide Machine - excellent machine see other review) ..used to have Chef Steps machine which died I used my Instant Pot pot for the container which worked very well but new Greater Goods machine needs a deeper container...looked around and this one seemed the best bang for the buck. Includes a neoprene sleeve to help insulate. Nice unit overall very happy with this purchase and very very happy with the Greater Goods Sous Vide.

As a newbie it worked well. Not perfect but still high marks.
It's a bit large and now need storage space for it but it worked well for my first 'cooks'.With the included 'blanket' the water was still heated a bit a few hours later.Only negative (other than needing to store anothing large thing) is the included rack. It does not stay together unless there is something within the vertical parts - It is very loose and the top rack 'clamps' just kept them from flopping open.- I used it during both cooks with only 1 bag each time and it held my bags but maybe the lacking point is with this
