Good quality and easy to use

Having been diagnosed with Type II diabetes a few years ago I have always relied on the GP Practice to carry out 3 monthly tests. A year ago they stopped calling me in for the tests, they either forgot or could not be bothered. Recently I have been getting tired and had other diabetes symptoms, so decided it was time to get get a diabetes (blood sugar) tester.The Sinocare one was on offer and I decided to try it out. After a rocky start with the test kit, I re-read the instructions and realised I had been doing it wrong. Since then I have been using the kit several times daily and in just 3 days with adjustments to the amount and type of meals I have been eating my blood sugar results have levelled out, and subsequently I am feeling a lot better. I also used the results in conjunction with the ChatGPT AI - it has definitely helped interpret the blood sugar results in a way I can easily understand, and has given me pointers to eating and food that help stabilise and control my Type II diabetes.It is early days, yet in under 4 days I have managed to get my energy levels back to normal (for a 70 year old man!), and the combination of using an easy to use blood sugar testing kit from Sinocare, along with suggestions and interpretation of the readings by ChatGPT AI I feel more confident that I will continue to control my borderline diabetes to a point where it does not inhibit my life. A combination of regular daily testing along with changing the amount and type of food I consume with the aim at losing weight to control the Type II diabetes.

Excellent value and item works well

I'm not diabetic, but bought this to monitor my blood glucose occasionally and reassure myself that all is well. If I notice a problem, I can consult the GP sooner. This device is well up to that job and removes the nagging doubt about diabetes as I get older and experience more aches and pains. The meter was easy to set up and although I wasted a couple of test strips initially, because the instructions were poor, when I did get readings they were exactly where I expected them to be. The device stores the readings in its own memory and calculates several rolling averages. My one little criticism is that the button which releases the test strip is a little strange. I am still not clear how that works. Consumables are affordable. If I was unfortunate enough to have to monitor blood sugar frequently, I might have chosen a monitor which allows results to be downloaded, but this one meets my simple needs perfectly, at the moment. Overall I am pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product.

First monitor worked 4 times then stopped. Returned the item and ordered another, this one did not work at all !!!Waste of my time and money. Had to add one star or the review would not send, if possible the item would have no stars.
