This is my dad's account...(and BTW, now even Dad uses this product)! In my 30s I started developing adult acne...something I never even dealt with as a teenager! I tried evvveryyything! Traditional face washes and moisturizers for oily skin, or even ones medicated with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide for "acne prone skin" really did nothing to correct the problem. AND, if I did break out, they ALSO did nothing to get rid of the breakout or lessen it. I couldn't use anything that was " anti-aging" either, no serums or moisturizers that weren't (acne) medicated, because then I'd break out by the next DAY and it would be twice as bad.I first found this product, as another reviewer said, in TJ Maxx. When I saw that it purported not only to be SAFE for acne prone/ oily skin, but that it could HELP that problem, as well as help with old acne scars (had `em), dark spots, puffy eyes and collagen production...well, I didn't really believe it (because nothing I had tried in recent years worked), but for the reasonable price I thought I'd try it.It is AMAZING stuff. I haven't had ANY BREAKOUTS IN about 3, 4 YEARS since I've been using this as my moisturizer. REALLY! AND, if I get a pimple, it is very small and gone in a few days...I used to get HUGE, red zits (sorry, I know it is gross, but when I'm reading a review for this kind of thing- ANYthing I put on my face- I want alllll the gory details!) and they would stick around for 10, 14 days and leave me with a big red mark on my face. And i want and need a SIMPLE skin care routine...I use only Shea Moisture African black soap for acne prone skin (it's for anyone who gets acne or oily skin, it's not made specifically for African-Americans, which I'm not) to wash my face, and THIS rosehip oil as a moisturizer. That's it. Plus sunblock in the summer.Olivia's Rosehip Oil is the best product I've ever found- AND I can actually afford it! It keeps my skin moisturized, prevents breakouts (for me; I guess everyone is different) AND has even helped to lighten/heal some of those old acne red marks and (little) scars. The only thing I dont see a difference in is my dark spots...but I am Irish, with naturally light skin, and have always had freckles. So I think that's just the way my skin is, its hereditary.BTW, there are other rosehip oils out there, but I ONLY USE OLIVIA'S. Why? Because it WORKS, it's worked for years, and all rosehip oil moisturizers will have a different balance of carrier oil (usually almond) to rosehip oil. Or it may have a different carrier oil or added ingredients. In my opinion, Olivia's has found the perfect balance and THAT'S why it works so well. If you're on the fence at all, just TRY IT! It is literally the only facial product on the market that made a MARKED CHANGE IN MY SKIN. That's major!(BTW, I dont work for this company and wasn't paid by them or given free product...as a matter of fact I dont usually leave reviews, but this is something I really do think helped my skin tremendously, so it was a product I felt I should review).

Ok . So I have been using Olivia Care for years . It started with this exact product. I fell in love then over the years forgot about it. My skin recently started having breakouts and texture, my dark spots seem to bother me more lately. I came across this again and ordered it. I will never not have this in my everyday skin care. It has renewed my skin so much. My skin looks so healthy! 2-3 drops is plenty, Don’t shy away because it’s too oily at first, give it 15-20 to set once it sets you will not feel greasy TRUST ME.

Been using for a few years now. I have very sensitive skin and it feels great. Took time for me to use something that feels like oil but does not clog my pores or break me out. Absorbs nicely.

Seems nice so far. I use it in my morning and evening moisturizing routine. I even put a little on my lips and have noticed a difference after about a week of use. The bottle is good quality and I like that it has a dropper instead of a pump for the product. It doesn't have much of a scent which is fine by me.

I've purchased rosehip face oil from Olivia Claire many times. It's a wonderful face oil I use at night. It has lightened some marks on my face. Other oils are very costly but this product is not and I feel fulfills all that it says it will. I would recommend it.

This smells like olive oil that's been on the shelf for a few years, so I'm wondering if I received an expired bottle. I still use it before bed and it seems to have the same effect as almond oil, haven't noticed anything spectacular or harmful. Feel neutral about this product.

I was a little hesitant to use this oil moisturizer at first because it felt kind of heavy, and I was afraid it would clog my pores and brak me out. I worked up my nerve and gave it a try, first with 2 drops , which felt too heavy and ended up washing my face. I tried again the next night using barely one drop after applying my other serums and night cream. This proved to be the right amount for my sensitive, combination skin. My skin was already pretty good but now I feel it's even better.

I'm obsesed with this serum. I have tried many rosehip oil serums and this is my favorite. Feels great on my face. It helps my makeup go on flawlessly. With that said, i don't always wear makeup when I use this. Sometimes I like to give my skin a break from makeup but my skin always looked dull and tired but this gives me such a radient hue that I feel confident stepping out in public without any makeup on.
