Burley Solstice Car Seat Adapter

So I know people are disappointed this doesn't click, but I genuinely believe the strap is more than good enough. Most importantly everything I have read says that under no circumstances should you jog with an infant under the age of 8 months old anyway. Considering an 8 month old should be able to be strapped into the main part of the stroller just fine, I think this adapter does what is supposed to do quite well. It allows you to drop your infant seat into the Burley Solstice for long walks where your mall stroller won't do.Basically I bought this for my wife to walk the 2 mile gravel loop around my neighborhood after our daughter is born, and this adapter serves that purpose well. The main reason I am only giving this 4 stars is the price is excessive for a non-clicking adapter. I think this should have easily been $15 cheaper.

I bought a Bob and the Burley stroller along with their carseat adapters to try them out first hand. The Burley adapter fits snugly into the stroller and allows the seat to be attached as tight as you want to make the strap. The Bob adapter had a lot of movement and also required the use of a red safety strap (you don’t see that in many photos do you?) that is identical to the strap used on the Burley stroller. I don’t see any problem with how the Burley adapter fits or how the carseats attach to it. It makes it seem easier since you don’t have to un click the carseat as well as the strap. I don’t understand the negative reviews for this adapter and I hope more people give it a shot. I love the Burley stroller too!

Works like a charm - it just sits atop the stroller and is not meant for jogging or running. The car seat sits snugly on the insert and is difficult to remove. But, obviously the baby needs to have stability for their developing head/neck at this early stage so walking only with the attachment is recommended.Compatible car seats are listed on the Burley website. I bought the attachment on Amazon and took it to test with my car seat before buying the stroller.If it doesn't work, you can always return the attachment to Amazon.

It does the job. I wish it were more secure, it's really just a frame that you set the carrier on but there is a buckle that straps it on. Doesn't have that secure click on mechanism.

Love this adapter for our burley. It’s sturdy for walking, light jogging and fit perfectly w out Britax B agile car seat. I wouldn’t take it off the paved path but it’s secure and perfect for the paved path.

We were so happy to get it since it is discontinued now. Love it!

Works very well with the Britax Be Safe 35. You are not running with this adapter, it is meant for gentle strolls with an infant in a car seat. It functions great, and it holds the car seat in place very well.
