Nut Harvest Almonds, Lightly Salted, 36 Ounce

On a low carb diet, with diabetes, I try to nibble on high protein between meals, and a small dish of almonds with a stevia sweetened drink keep me from feeling deprived. (I've lost 22 lbs in 10 weeks, and brought my blood sugar from 7.0 to 5.5 just with diet and exercise -- I have been taking this so seriously!).These almonds are very cost effective, and I actually really like that they are smaller than many you see, because I eat them one at a time as I am writing and browsing on the computer, and it makes them last. However, every so often, there is an almond that is bad -- I have gone through several containers now, and some have been perfect, and some have had a few bad nuts. I don't really mind, but you have to watch out.At the price point, it's worth looking at a dish of nuts and every so often pulling one out that you can see has a bad spot on it eaten away. My mom used to say that if the stuff is less enough sprayed that a little mold or bugs gets in (even if it's not organic) it's better for you too. There's likely less residue in your food. So don't let that put you off.But I did want to dock one star so people would look at the review and see that this is something to watch for.I've been re-ordering though. They are a good buy, and very tasty. I have not gotten any problems with them being fresh as some others have reported. Mine have been very crisp and crunchy, and stayed so in the jar -- probably because I eat them pretty quickly, they are so good!One of my favorite ways to eat them besides snacking is in chicken salad with a few dried cranberries or raisins, scallions, celery, almonds, chicken breast, and olive oil/balsamic vinagrette. Sometimes I throw in leftover steamed veggies, and I've also used ground beef or tofu puffs rather than chicken. Super yummy, super fast, and the small size makes them easy to eat in a salad -- and much cheaper than slivered almonds.

I loved these almonds and wasn't sure if I would. My whole life I swell from fluid retention with salt sensitivity issues. I had tried the plain roasted and came back to find they were oos. I took a chance on these and was happy to find I had no issues with fluid retention and also the flavor was light salt, not the usual too much salt taste of most nuts!

I purchased the Nut Harvest Nut and Chocolate 39 oz container and was extremely disappointed. The picture and description show the peanuts along with cashews, almonds and chocolate. The container I received was almost all peanuts (95%) with some chocolate pieces (4%). The cashews and almonds were almost non existent (1%).I would pay this much for almost all peanuts.

The almonds were good and it’s a great price for the amount. I did get tired of them by the last quarter of the container but they remained fresh.

This is a good product and when it sold for 10$ I was happy but my subscription changes so frequently and dramatically its now up to 16$. Not nearly as delicious for 16$ Was usually crisp and enjoyable but I gotta call it quits

the quantity for price is good , they are smaller than any others that I have boughtthey could be a little fresher or a little more almond flavored for almondsI have eaten about 1/2 of the 36oz jar and gotten maybe 10 sour/rancid nutsI would buy again if I find them on sale/promo but not at everyday price

I am addicted to these. Lightly salted is really light. Not like some others that say lightly salted and that is all you taste. These have excellent taste and a light crunch. I buy multiple containers so I never run out.

These are delicious although they are smaller almonds the salt is just right and you get a lot for your money. I am enjoying them!
