Hard to tell color online, but this was a nice medium green. It has a good feel & weight, easy to work with (crochet). I have to use a slightly larger hook sometimes because I tend to make a tight stitch that comes out smaller than it should, smaller than a pattern gauge. I was doing double crochet, which I use most. The yarn would work, I think with a G-J, depending on need or pattern.

It is chunky but not soft at all. It's not even softer than my weight 4 red heart. It is chunky and doesn't unravel super easily but I'm mad that it said it was soft.

Three rolls of this yarn can help a beginner have enough to become confident of their skill. So it is worth the cost.

I am knitting a sweater. I have knit with this yarn many years ago. Would you please, please put the stitch guage and knitting needles size so as one can order the correct yarn and amount.Thanls D

This is such a great chunky yarn! It's soft, and great for a simple pattern. I'm making a scarf with it, and I think it'll absolutely hold up to our cold winters.
