This is a quality red light that is very soothing to the body. I purchased it directly from the manufacturer, SGROW, at less than half the price that KissMeEssentials wants. IT HAS BEEN TAKEN DOWN THREE TIMES IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS!

I bought this device a few weeks ago to help with muscle recovery after my workouts. My first impressions of the device when I took it out of the box were that it’s sturdy, fairly heavy, and looks/feels like it’s well made and good quality. I got the Double device, which comes equipped with 2 powerful fans that keep the device from overheating. I bought this device specifically for my forearm and wrist, which experience pain after workouts. It’s the perfect size for a body part like an arm, but if you wanted to treat a bigger area I would go for their Triple or Ultimate models.If you are going to buy a device for muscle recovery, make sure you get a dual light device (one that has both deep red and near infrared lights). I did a ton of research before buying this device and found that red light will easily penetrate the skin, so it’s good for things like reversing some signs of aging, and helping with skin issues like eczema. If you need to penetrate into the muscle layer though, you will need near infrared light. This device is a “dual light configuration” (as it says on the listing), so you get the benefits of both deep red and near infrared light--I had to look up what the difference is and my research tells me that red light is good for skin conditions and reducing sun damage and signs of aging, while near-infrared light penetrates deeper, making it effective for pain relief, increasing testosterone, etc.As a side note, while I originally bought this device for muscle/joint pain, I also noticed it really relieved/ improved my eczema. So far it’s worked better for my eczema than the steroid cream I sometimes have to use when it flares up. I’ll come back to edit this if it stops working, but so far I’m impressed.As I said, this device feels sturdy, the switches work properly, the electrical cord is good quality and firmly attached to the device and there are different mounting options. All the lights function (you can’t actually see near infrared lights, they’re invisible to the human eye. At first I thought that half my lights were broken, but they’re not). That being said, the lights on the device are powerful. I feel like I should mention here that you’ll probably want to wear your protective eyewear EVERY time you use your machine. The instructions do say to always wear your eyewear and even the few seconds I didn’t wear mine, it felt uncomfortable. Always wear eye protection.Overall I am very impressed with this product. I thought it might be a dud because it was less expensive than some other red light devices I looked at, but so far I am impressed. I’ll come back and add to this review once I’ve had more time to use it. It just arrived a week ago, but after using it every day for 10 minutes, I have noticed the muscle and joint pain in my arm has significantly decreased and my eczema has improved.

I have been wanting to use red light therapy for a while as a way to deal with joint pain and for overall health benefits for skin, etc. This unit came and exceed my expectations with the quality and overall unit fit, finish, and now after using it for a few months the durability of being used. Super happy with this find as it’s a lot less than better advertised competitors.

I bought this light hoping it would improve my skin. Overall. I recently went to a tanning salon and used the red light box they had and I had really great results after just one treatment. I haven't used this light enough to really see any difference but after using it more I will post the results. But it is realy easy to set up. Definitely use the eye protection they provide with it.

I’ve had a Joovv for a while and I love it. I start each day with red light therapy and wanted a 2nd unit to double the treatment area. This unit has quite a few more lights in a smaller footprint and I’m loving it. All the specs match my original unit. Shipping was fast the box was well padded.
