The Frog and Toad Treasury

The cutest writing and funniest little stories. Great for grown ups who read to children. Happy to read this book and these stories over and over.

Was in great condition and came super fast. Just know that this does not have all of the Frog and Toad stories, but does have most of them.

This book arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Unfortunately, it was not the book I was hoping it was, but it is a beautiful book and I will be glad to have it and read it to my someday grandchildren.I am trying to locate another children's book to replace it, as I read to my son when he was small. Most of his childhood books were lost in our house fire, nine (9) years ago. He desperately wants it for his children, someday. The story was about a frog that rode a bike along a canal, and a boat with a captain, I'm not sure what animal the captain was, there was also a muskrat, I think in the story and an otter and others. They got into all kinds of crazy antics.It was not Wind in the Willows. When I read it to my son, the book was about 12" x 6" and had about 8-10 chapters, with lots of pictures. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.The  The Frog and Toad Treasury  book purchase could not have gone better.Thank you for asking!

When I saw the price of the book I thought no way it was that cheap and would be in good condition but when I saw they were 98% positive it was in good condition I just had to try it. When we got it my wife and I were really suprised that it was in such great shape it is a book we love and we love the condition it came in. There were no bent pages it looked like a brand new book and it really looked like no one had touched it or even used it. So we really wanted a book that looked like new and wasn't in bad condition so our daughter could have it for years to come and it was exactly what we hoped for and wanted it to be.

I love reading these stories with my daughter. They are just so funny and sweet! The treasury is nice because all the stories are in one place and you know how easy it is to misplace kids books! The fewer items there are in a house full of kids, the better!

The kids love this book. The words are easy to read and generally entertaining enough that I actually enjoy reading it.

Loved to be able to give this to my nephew and it is he favorite book.

I like the Frog and Toad books for emergent readers

What a bargain! Such good value, this treasury includes three full frog and toad books in a handy A5 size. I was worried it would be too big and bulky as a treasury and considered getting the box set instead but I needn't have worried its nice and small. The stories are timeless, some very funny (had me laughing out loud so my daughter couldn't understand me), some charming and some just plain lovely and leave you with a nice warm feeling (like one where frog and toad secretly go to each others gardens to rake up the leaves as a nice surprise, except the wind blows the leaves all over the place again before they get back to their gardens so they never know). I think I like the stories better than my daughter! Shame. This is a book i'd happily read over and over.Bit of an update since I wrote the paragraph above. I bought this for my 5 year old in the hopes that it would get her interested in reading but it's actually my 2.5 year old who likes this best. We've read it every night for over a week and I have to read at least 5 stories (the downside of a treasury I guess). She laughs along every time. But, my originally disinterested 5 year old listens along too and tonight started reading it herself. I think she was quite pleased that she COULD read it. So many stories are just a bit tricky for her. this is just right. Interesting, funny stories with real characters, but very simple, repetitive language.There is one more book not included here, days with frog and toad which is also good.

Just utterly delightful. Frog and Toad are not so well known in the UK and after a tip off from an American friend I went for the treasury as it is all of the " Frog and Toad" books in one compilation. I fall more in love with these two friends every time I read it! Some stories make are hilarious, some tender; Frog and Toad are totally endearing characters. A childhood favourite guaranteed.

Frog and Toad are Simple character driven stories that are as much a joy to read as the pictures are to look at.

an absolutely fantastic book which makes my five year old laugh out loud every time we read it. the stories are easy for a new reader to manage but at the same time are very funny and interesting, unlike many of the reading books aimed at those just starting to read aloud or read on their own. highly recommended
