GARLIC BULB (12 Ounces), FRESH CALIFORNIA SOFTNECK GARLIC BULB FOR PLANTING, EATING AND GROWING YOUR OWN GARLIC, COUNTRY CREEK BRAND

All sprouted quickly but were very spindly and thin. The plants soon died despite excellent growing conditions in the garden (other plants were doing just fine). I dug up the dead shoots and found all had made rounds, indicating no proper cold storage had ever been done to produce bulbs. Perhaps if left in the garden the rounds would have sprouted next year and made bulbs, but since the garden is turned every year this was not an option. Waste of money. Would not buy again.

Ok overall. I got my bulbs but one was definitely rotten and moldy. Completely unusable and dried out. The others look good and I'm hoping they grow. I'll update in the spring.

We planted out garlic in late Oct. To our surprise, it started growing in days. We have covered the area with lots of leaves and a bug bucket, to protect from the on coming freeze. Can't wait till next year to see how many bulbs we get! I have a feeling we will have plenty to share.

The garlic taste was excellent. The price was expensive for the quantity. The quality was, as I said, excellent. Would i buy again, yes. Because the quality at the grocery stores are not always fresh. Knowing that this garlic comes from California and not China, I would buy again.

I’m so sorry to have to write this review. The garlic was received in my mailbox so I don’t actually know if they were shipped intact but when opened several were squashed. The garlic itself were fine. I called the company and left a phone message but never heard back. My fault I should have followed up.

The cloves were a variety of sizes but some of them were quite large. There were 18 cloves all together. I planted them and so far 16 of them have big healthy sprouts sticking out of the soil---I'm thrilled.

I bought to plant in the fall. It was a lot of garlic, very large fresh appearing bulbs. We planted all but 2 and if they harvest well we will have garlic to share with our community!

Received these with the root side totally cleaned out. Uncertain whether they will grow since they are not supposed to be cleaned that deep. Will keep a close eye on them.
