Q: Hi Scor-Pal, it says this one is the 106 model with the imperial system, but the picture is of the cm model. Could you confirm this is in inches?

Mine is in inches. (I was concerned about this also, but I ordered it anyway, and happily it’s inches)

Q: Are the marks and groves accurate? scor-pal has some bad reviews of not being accurate. ex: scoring 11" at the 5.5 leaves one edge slightly longer.

I haven't had any issues with inaccurate scoring lines. I use my score pal almost daily to score A2 size cards. I score and fold up against the edge and score the fold with no issues ever. I have done a few fancy folds with no issues either.

Q: Why does the description say " Product description Thin, metal die to use in most leading die cut machines to cut paper and cardstock..."?

That is for that “Quilty Box” pictured just above that description. It’s not about the Scor-Buddy.

Q: Does the score-pal create better/crisper score lines than ez or martha stewart version?

I don't know about the two scorers you are asking about. To me it scores perfectly. I had a Scot-It before and the lines were always a fraction of an inch "off." The Scor-Pal Scor-Buddy works great. I have a small one and then later bought the larger size.

This is just the perfect sized score board and has all the measurement sizes and can read them so clearly… just perfect for my card making.. plus it comes with a cloth bag that has a zip so it can be safely stored away when not using 👋

Just what I wanted

Everything on this scoring board is in inches and part inches thereof. This is the one I wanted before, a couple of years ago, but I got sent a metric version instead. I'm a baby boomer. I learnt imperial measurements at school, not metric. I am at my happiest dealing with feet and inches. I am happy now ;-)
