Fantastic sensor module! Multifunctional and works with Arduino!
This wonderful sensor module works with Arduino and has several libraries to support it such as the one from Pololu and Sparkfun. As a time of flight sensor, you can expect this product to have robust distance sensing up to 4 meters. This sensor has an API that allows you to specify one or more regions of interest for applications like people/object counting, speed detection, and swipe detection.Overall, the sensor works very well. It definitely comes with female jumper cables that easily attaches to any microcontroller. Low power capable and very clean implementation on the module!

Simple, effective.
Very simple and easy to use with an arduino uno. I am using this sensor to detect the height of objects on a platform, and it has worked flawlessly. The sensor is on a rising platform, and once the sensor is higher than the object, the arduino stores that data and moves on to the next task. Very easy to use.

No python support but good
Was a good ToF sensor. Worked but did not end up needing it for my final project. Libraries are only in C which is not great for python based applications

Exactly what I expected
Works exactly as expected. This is Arduino compatible, and the libraries are easy to find. I used it to measure objects 1-2 inches from the sensor. Only con is the size/surface of the object can affect measurements slightly

Nice sensor. Works well.
This sensor met all of our expectations for a VCSEL VL53L1X type of time-of-flight sensors. Having the plug-in harness was nice so that you don’t have to solder directly to the board. Our application was with a Raspberry Pi 4.
