Honesty hour: this is the first smart tech product I have purchased. With that being said, I was uninterested in a product that would waste my money, not do as it says, and ultimately be a purchase that sits in my jewelry box garnering regret. I am here to say: this ring is not that.I was lovingly influenced by a coworker to delve into this world, specifically the Ring Conn Gen 2 Air, when I was shopping for an Oura Ring or watch. I came to find out that this product is an incredible value for its price. I highlight recommend trying it out for yourself with the sizing kit and seeing how you like the fit (the sensors are a learning curve) and the placement (pointer or middle finger of your non-dominant hand)It was super easy to connect to the app, with no secondary purchases required. In the two weeks I have had this product, the insights it has offered me have been helpful, and accurate. I can’t speak to the comparison of this data with other smart tech, but the fitness features, the stress insights, the sleep tracking and more have proved very helpful.My only feedback, and I’m sure it will come in new updates, is certain features in the period tracking feel missing. For my friends trying to plan pregnancy, I would do some more research into how this could help and what features may be in incoming.Also, for what it’s worth, the ring is stunning and without me talking about it to friends, I’m not sure they would notice it was smart tech and would just assume it was a ring!

I returned my first ring because it did not do anything it said. I bought this ring and have nothing but amazing things to say about it. No subscription required and the app is top notch. I use ever aspect of it. I would like my push notifications to ring on my app to remind me to stand up.... And it might be user error as to why it doesn't ... I'm not sure yet, but that would be the only improvement I would like to see. I wear this ring on my thumb and it works great. Compared to other rings I have seen, this is slimmer and lighter than the others. The charging post is easy to use and the ring last 9 days before having to charge it. It took 60 minutes to charge to 100%. Just the combination of the ring and app is A 5 star review from me. I only review poor and above average products because I expect average. And.... My HSA paid for it!

Besides being very pretty, it is very light and makes me more health conscious of my stress level and activity level (or lack there of) and sleep quality. I appreciate the gentle reminders to get up and move around when I have gone down a rabbit hole.And learning that I regularly don’t go into REM sleep until 4 AM was very helpful, so now I try not to get up until 0730, (interestingly, which is the time, according to my genetic study that I should wake up normally), so feel more rested (at least until the pre lunch brick wall).

I’m loving this ring so far! I have been doing a ton of research the last few months on all the big names (oura, ultra human, evie, and ringconn). and ringconn checked all of my boxes on paper and so far is performing better than expected. a few things to note about this ring:Sizing: i am a 7 in traditional rings. i have previously sized myself for an Oura ring (sz 9) and chose that same size for the ringconn. the fit is similar, i wanted it snug but not impossible to remove. it is still comfortable when my finger swells a bit.Finish: Dune gold is beautiful! it’s a very pretty rose gold color. BUT, it does scratch and pickup fingerprints. if this is something you are concerned about, i would suggest looking into a ring protector, whether it be from amazon or from the ringconn website.Tracking and accuracy: i wanted to replace my apple watch, and this has replaced it. I’ve seen many comments about how rings aren’t accurate as they pickup ghost steps, but so do watches. i find this to be much more accurate with my steps and calories burned. I’m loving the sleep tracking, which was a big selling point for me. I haven’t dove much into the fertility/period tracking just yet but am excited to learn how more about it.Battery: my biggest concern that i had seen among all rings was the battery life. i wanted something that i wouldn’t have to charge daily. since my last full charge, i have worn this ring for 2 full days and have 91% battery (about 8.5 days)
