I bought these to take camping. I hung them up in our tent and they were perfect! I chose these lights specifically because of the good ratings, the length, they are battery powered, and they have a remote with different settings. I was very pleased with these little lights. I used masking tape to hang them up inside of our camping tent, and because they are so light, the masking tape worked perfectly with no issues! They were nice and bright while also being soft and pretty, all the different light patterns were very cool. The only (minor) issue I had was with the remote. The buttons didn't always work to change the settings, and to use the remote successfully you have to point it directly at the battery box from a distance of only a few inches. Overall, I highly recommend these pretty fairy lights!

They turned out amazing! Was perfect for indoor use as it wasn't too bright. My only gripe is that I was hoping this would last the month of December. It did but it got really dim Midway through the month. All I had to do was replace the batteries but was hoping these would retain their brightness better.To be fair I did get the 66ft one and it was on a good majority of the day.The settings are nice as well with good variation. Never had any problems with the remote either.Will probably go with lights that plug in rather than battery powered next year though. BUT if you absolutely can't plug in, these are a good alternative.

I ordered this product to wrap around a big branch that I intended to hang on a wall in my home. The product worked upon arrival and the lights gave off a nice warm glow. I made a bad choice by unrolling the entire strand and then re-rolling it before beginning the task of wrapping the branch. I say this was a bad choice because the strand got tangled over and over and over and over again. I patiently worked to gently untangle it over and over and over for an hour and a half as I slowly wrapped the branch, but after a while the copper strands became weak and broke. I requested a new product, and with no hassle at all, the company sent me a new one even before I had returned the broken one. The second time around I made a wise choice and didn't unroll the whole thing at once. I kept it all neatly rolled, just as it arrived, and only undid a bit at a time. In this way I was able to save myself a lot of headache and time. My branch is now twinkling beautifully on my wall. Thanks for great customer service and a sweet product.

I did not gave more star because it is small. Really small. My first feeling when I opened the box was a shock with the small size of the string. I would not mind if the pucture shown on the website was misleading. Really misleading!!! I’m including a real picture so you can understand what you will buy.That said. The color is nice. It looks very exquisite and modern.The remote works fine. The battery case has a rubber that works like a o-ring to prevent water to get inside.I will decide if I will Install it outside since it the brightness may be not enough. I will write back after.Echowho. Please. Next time make real picture with honest perception of size.REVISION AFTER WINTER: I installed this set outside in the small cabin where I store my stuff. It was real cool. I protected the battery box. Set the remote for the module 6 hours on. It worked flowlessly and would lit every night at 7 pm. The battery lasted until end of January. I uninstalled this week (Mid April) and it was in perfect shape. I recommend. Because of that I raised one star.

I waver between 4 and 5 stars....but I’m going with 5! The leds are subtle, they could be brighter. I used these on a 6’ pop up pencil tree....they are warm and twinkly and have many settings, lots of lights for the money.I would take off 1/2 star because they are a pain in the butt bc they tangle. Like....almost crazy tangle. I put these on and don’t plan to take them off. I tangled the first 1/2 strand (they are bundled in two parts...but a continuous string) and it took a LONG time to get them untangled.

I purchased the 66 foot light string to use on my screened porch. They are perfect! The wire is practically invisible to it appears the tiny lights are floating around the perimeter of the porch. They are bright and add just the right amount of light for a summer night's gathering. The remote control is wonderful, since it allowed me to hang the lights as high as I wanted. The many functions are an added plus, even though I prefer the standard still lighting. The waterproof feature means I never have to take them down. This is an amazing purchase for the price. We loved these lights when they first arrived! We bought them as accent lights for an outdoor patio and circular staircase. They were easy to install and provided the understated lighting we were looking for. We used them for a couple of hours 5-6 times. Then, last night, they just stopped working. The 3 AA batteries we had installed were new, but we changed them anyway to see if that would help. When it didn’t, my husband went out and bought another lithium battery (which had been provided) for the remote control to see if that would help. It didn’t. We inspected the wires for damage and didn’t see any. We are totally disappointed and if the seller is willing to send us another complimentary set, we’d like to give them another try. (I submitted this review when the lights stopped working and the seller wrote us back that s/he would send us another complimentary string, that sometimes the lights are defective. That was six weeks ago, then we left home on a one-month vacation. We still haven't received the new string of lights. Were we supposed to have returned the original string? The seller didn't make that clear and now the window for returns has closed.)

Sadly there was some chaos at my wedding and we forgot to wrap these around the altar but it’s ok because I did end up using them to wrap around our porch outside and it looks beautiful I love them
