It works! Better than Fiio BT-11
These are the only option for basically anyone to use lossless Bluetooth, except for some few Android phones. They work on computers, video game systems and phones via USB-C. In testing at my desk they work very well for AptX Lossless (Snapdragon Sound) and AptX LE. I will update when I test on the go, automatic switching to microphone and the gaming latency mode. Note: I have not and will not test on gaming consoles other than Nintendo Switch since I don't have those. However, these use a basic standard for audio on USB-C so most devices should work fine.Overall seems well-implemented. The app to control has many more features than I need, but I like and am interested to use them someday. For example, good psychoacoustic bass boost or equalizer for headphones that don't support any EQ might come in handy someday. So I've been excited for lossless audio on my headphones ever since Apple removed the headphone jack. I got Bose QC Earbuds Ultra with "Snapdragon Sound" and waited. Along came the Fiio BT-11, which I had to order on Alibaba. To be short, the firmware barely works and has not been updated after months of promises. Constant dropouts and static, very basic features. Then I saw this recommended and got it. Hooray it does everything I wanted. Excellent product. I have an old Creative Soundblaster Extigy which still works after 20+ years. Glad to be using a good American product.

Makes audio sound SIGNIFICANTLY worse
I am incredibly disappointed with this item. I've purchased from Creative before, their Aurvana Ace 2 earbuds, and while I wasn't blown away by their sound, it was decent for the price point. This, however, is a completely different story. I have recently bought a pair of Bose QC Ultra earbuds, and wanted to try out the different Bluetooth codec options. Not only was it incredibly unclear what the options were in the app, but no matter the option that I tried, the sound quality was invariably worse. Every cymbal strike was clipping, the vocals sounded like a mess, and the bass was either barely audible or annoyingly loud. There is nothing I can write that is positive about this product, including the packaging it was shipped in. The desiccant included in the box was apparently not packed well at all, as with a couple pokes, it leaked out of the bag and the little balls got everywhere. This product is incredibly disappointing, and I can't see a use case for it in any situation. My computer doesn't have an incredible sound card either, just whatever default card came in it, same with my phone, but they both sound IMMENSELY better without this worthless piece of plastic.

AptX Low Latency works perfectly
I got the Creative BT-W6 Bluetooth adapter to connect my laptop to my Bose Soundlink Flex 2, which supports AptX via Snapdragon Sound. My laptop’s built-in Bluetooth only allowed SBC or AAC, causing lip sync delays and choppy connections—frustrating for watching videos. The moment I plugged in the BT-W6 and selected AptX Adaptive Low Latency in the Creative app, everything changed. The connection became stable, and the audio-video sync was finally perfect. I can finally watch movies and music without any interruptions or lag. This adapter does exactly what it promises, and I am very happy. Highly recommended!Update: I really like it, so I bought a second one for my office. Now I can use my Bose speakers at both home and office PCs.The only minor issue I am having is that it is not easy to connect and disconnect different bluetooth speakers. It reconnects easily to my Bose speakers, but if I try to reconnect to my Soundcore Motion Plus speaker, the app freezes or gives an error that it cannot connect. Then I have to reset the dongle and connect from the beginning, which is annoying.

It supports AptX Lossless
I bought this dongle because I needed a cheap way to output AptX Lossless to my new headphones and it did work but gave me several issues too.I have observed a couple of downsides so far:The dongle might disconnect often from my desktop computer if I leave it permanently connected. The "Creative App" might duplicate the dongle and use 100% CPU until closed. Both issues would seem manageable by disconnecting the device when not in use, which is not an ideal solution but a workaround since I wanted to keep it plugged into my desktop computer 24/7.As for the good points, the dongle has maybe every coded available which makes it capable of handling most wireless headphones out there.

No LDAC, No 24Bit 96Khz
Don't waste your time if you want LDAC 24Bit 96Khz audio as this device doesn't support it. Further, while it will work on an iPhone, the Creative App for ios does not support the BTW6 so you have to configure it on PC/MAC then move it over to your iPhone. ATPX HD for 24Bit 48Khz isn't bad, but it's not full HiRes Audio. It sounds ok, but not worth the money. Better to get the FiiO BT11 which supports LDAC fully.
