My First Reading Library (First Reading Collection) Paperback – 1 Mar. 2014

Great value and imo the best first reader set out there. Each book is very cleverly worded to build upon the words your child can read. The first book my daughter slowly learnt to read, we have re read each a few times and are now upto section 6. She's already reading most words with ease.

This is a brilliant set for those learning to read. Especially early on, each book is just the right increase in difficulty over the previous one. My little one loved the puzzles at the back, too.

I am teaching my 4 year old to read. I am a trained teacher but as I am no longer in the country my son is not gaining from bringing home reading books.This series is great at building up confidence. The first set allows you to read together, the adult reading one side of slightly harder text and the child the easy text on the other page. This helps to make the books more of a joint activity and more exciting. The reinforcement activities at the end of the book are also very good.We look forward to reading the individual books when we get to them. There is enough to keep us going for quite a while!

Fantastic reading library to start with for a child in reception year.We are working our way through the books in order, nice parents guidance at the back.Had brought these and a set of the phonics readers. Was hard to know what to get without seeing the books but so glad I got this. We are reading this first and then move onto the phonics reader set.

These are lovely little books, I used them as party favours for my 5 year old party rather than plastic bits and bobs
