Q: Will this pick up peanut shells after a game of naked twister on a roughly dewy evening on a slightly moist softball field?

If the peanuts are dry, or only slightly moist, it will pick up no problem, however if they have been lubricated, it will struggle.

Q: does this sweeper pick up twigs and acorns?

Twigs yes acorns no. I did purchase this product based on "have pretty good luck with the sweeper picking up acorns" the hight adjustment only adjust the brush level not the clearance level. It only picks up probably 5% of the acorns in the yard and or concrete. The rest of the acorns fly wild under the 3" or so clearance that is not adjustable.

Q: Will this product sweep leaves and debris off hard surfaces (pavement, pavers and patios)?

Well...the only things that you will have adjusted the height with the brush underneath. But I don't guarantee that will work well. I always used broom and rake to put on the lawn as well. It will help faster to clean out the lawn than doing more work on the hard surface. I hope this would be helpful to you.
