MARMOTWomen's Montreaux Coat

This coat works great so far. I am pretty happy with it. The coat is well made and the material is water resistant for the rain except the fur hoodie part. The fur like material is very warm and does not irritate the skin from what I can tell. The coat is easy to move around in and light weight for being a puffy coat. The stitching is well done so far. I saw no issues with fraying so far. It did well in a light drizzle rain. I am not sure how the material will do in snow weather but I can say that coat is really warm when wearing it. It does not hug the skin too tight and gives you a little breathing room. There are pockets as needed and they are relatively secure. Overall the coat is pretty nice. It is light weight and the material is durable however you should note that the coat take up a good amount of space in the closet or drawer. In terms of washing, I found that machine wash and air dry is the best for this. The material does not chafe the skin and it fits perfectly while giving you good mobility as needed. It is also very warm to wear. The zipper is good and does not get caught on anything when zipping. It also has not shown issues with snapping off.

This coat is perfect for freezing temperatures, with its down insulation keeping me cozy without adding bulk. The midnight navy color is elegant, and the faux fur trim adds a chic touch. It’s lightweight yet incredibly warm. The only drawback is that it runs slightly small, so sizing up might be a good idea.

I ordered this MARMOT Women's Montreaux Coat for my wife, as she was in need of a new winter coat. I had no worries about a Marmot coat since they excel in quality, traditional styling, great attention to detail that last for years. With that said, this down filled long coat will certainly keep her warm on blustery days, so laying may not be too big of an issue. She loves the color, style, inner pockets, sturdy zippers, and detachable hood.So why 4 stars? In the ad it shows where to measure, however doesn't give a size chart to compare, so went with my wife's normal size, large. It fits, however, she will not be able to use layers with this coat, as she would when going on a hike. She will definitely be able to wear the coat but use it for more sedimentary events. I would say size up, however without a size chart it may be too big.

It will keep you warm. Right now it's to hot outside to wear this jacket but it's design and material it's made from it will do the job.It fits as it should and a great style.Because of the material used it's light weight and made well.

I am obsessed with this jacket. It is so soft and cozy inside and lined with velor. I normally don't like a fur hood, but this one is so cute. Fit really well and does not feel boxy.

Marmot makes some great coats and this is no exception. It is long so goes down to your thigh level. It is super warm and looks great!! It is amazing quality and well made. This is our 3rd coat in this style over the last 8 years. We have it for both of our daughters as well. Great coat and would get it again without hesitation.

Too tight I returned it..nice jacket , but definitely go up a size.
