To be honest if it were not for the Amazon Vine program I would never entertain the thought of trying one of these gadgets out.I do a lot of diy and this does involve a lot of measuring and in many cases the distances are quite long and I would normally do this with a metal tape measure which has to be broken down into two measurements due to the limitations of the tape measure that I have.This gadget makes measuring a lot easier especially with those that cover a long distance. It uses a laser system and there are three on the unit, one firing out of each end and one firing vertical from the middle top. This allows you many combinations of taking a measurement depending on the scenario.For long distances there is a digital level to ensure that the unit is correctly level for an accurate measurement. I am in the process of designing decking that I will be installing when the weather gets better and this made measuring the garden area such a breeze. I just needed to make sure that there were blocks of wood at the end points so that the red laser could hit.There are plenty of settings to allow you to customise the unit for your needs and a downloadable app to use in conjunction with this to capture measurements for any project that you are working on.As I said, I would not even look at getting one of these due to the cost but having experienced using one I do think it is worth getting if you are a professional or in the process of renovating a whole house. I did find it such an easy thing to use and accurate.

This seems to be a very nicely manufactured tool. It was very accurate in my usage (mainly around the house) and I can well imagine this is more suited to not only hard core DIYers but more specifically to people actually requiring this kind of tool in a trade. I spent quite some time assessing the measurements from this Vs messing about with a tape measure, and eventually settled on this being probably just as if not more accurate, and taking considerably less effort. As we're doing quite a bit of work in the house at the moment, this really has saved a lot of time so if you are doing a bigger project it's definitely worth considering. It looks very professional and the dual laser is a great feature. I haven't used it for angles in anger but my messing around with the function it seems pretty good. It's a punchy tool in terms of cost, so I wouldn't recommend it for the casual user unless you have money to burn, but for anyone that's going to be using it frequently well worth considering

The MiLESEEY DP20 Pro Dual Laser Measuring Tool arrived the next day.The laser measuring tool was well packed and came with charging cable/carry case and instructions.I found the laser measuring tool to be very well made and solidly built in premium aircraft-grade magnesium-aluminium alloy.After I fully charged up the laser and downloaded the Smart Life App it was ready to go.I tried it out in the rear garden with the length and width the shed measurements and I used it to take the angle on the roof .It was easy to use and worked very well with all the measurements and was great to have them all on the app.The way you can switch between single and dual laser measurements is easy and it will also takes measurements up to 120 meters.You can do many types of measurements floor plans being one of then as well as recording many types of data.The one thing I found to be very useful was to be able to take centre measurements and we are pleased with this laser and its many uses.

Serious measuring tool for serious users. Both price and feature wise its a bit beyond general home DIY uses.This really is for people doing big projects. Being able to place this on a tripod in a middle of a room and take several measurements from one spot is extremely useful. Loads of features and easy to use.Build quality is perfect, feels premium. The silicone case is nice but a little loose in my opinion. The carry case is very nice and offers a good level of protection.Would recommend for professionals.

Comes in a smart box. The thing is really snugly fitted inside and reminds me of the way a new phone is packaged. You also get a USB cable and a case. The case was an unexpected extra. The device itself comes in a thin plastic wrapper and there's a protective plastic sheet over the LCD screen. So as you can see the packaging is really nice. Impressed.The tool is really smart. It looks like a measurement tool from the future. One of the sleekest coolest looking gadgets I have had. It has a port to charge it which can be covered up and there's a option to mount it on a tripod or monopod which is a great feature. There's a ton of features here.The LCD screen is nice and bright and clear. The buttons are responsive and just as a measurement tool it's fantastic. I like how it can tell you the measurement from the left, right, and as a whole distance. You can simply and easily change the measurements from feet, inces, cm, fractions and so on. You can do loads of different stuff with this like measure angles for example. This is really all you will need for many tasks. I won't go into detail about all the things it can do because it's in the description and I would be writing this review for ever so I will save my fingers and your eyes! I will say though it blows my mind it can measure volume. Very clever!This thing is amazing and well worth the money. It looks so stylish, the thing is all in on premium feeling, and does every job it needs to do and more! I really highly recommend this. An easy 5 stars.
